Roadway in Hemphill Texas

The people that worked there were very nice. Very helpful and came to our room and redid our tv to get signal and cable. But the bed was to soft. Theres no coffee pot or coffee at the motel at all. It says it has blow dryer but didnt. Tiny ice machine and the construction crews took that but the manager brought us a bag of ice. The room was clean. But the place really needs some investments on it.

My bath water was BROWN!!! Only trash can was the one in the bathroom but ur staff is AWESOME!! 🫶🏻 Checkin was easy. I’m not gonna try to spell their names..ur Checkin in clerk ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The other young lady with the braids ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mike and Rachel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👌✌ So helpful and pleasant. I escaped an abusive relationship from over in Mississippi and Rachel consoled me and knows how to get me the help I need. You have no idea what that means to me because I am in fear for my life. Thank you for making things a little easier for me. 🥲

Room was dirty. Furniture was filthy and I was afariad to sit on anything. Lumpy bed and no breakfast.

For the price it was an ok place to stay . Had to go get our own towels and only had one trash can in the room and it was in bathroom. Gave me wrong room then blamed Expedia. Dogs were loud. No astray outside so cigarette butts excessive everywhere .no breakfast as advertised

It looked like homeless people lived there. Random chairs by the back door and in the parking lot. We started to park on the back part of the property but I didn’t feel safe

Clean and comfortable

The lady who runs the hotel is very very nice, the outside looks a bit scary but it is clean and smells good on the inside so don’t let outside scare you.

TERRIBLE -

TERRIBLE - place was closed initially- mgr was able to pull ONE room together. When I confronted her with issues (see photos) she got in my face, raised voice declaring that I was disrespectful. She then gave me filters for the coffee pot (photos). Dirty, tv didn’t initially work, when it did very limited channel choice (no ESPN this no championship college game)!!!! Was never sure whether the beds had been slept in!

Not ready for prime time

No Rodeway sign, computer didn't seem to be in contact with anything. I didn't stay because I didn't feel comfortable there. Drove the 300 miles home in 6 hours, not what I intended to do. I'll look out for that Rodeway name in the future.

Room was clean and the folks that ran the place were friendly. The only problem I had was the AC was off,and it was about 89 degrees in the room. Other than that I have no complaints.

Motel Hell!!

I booked the room for $55/nite and when I got there the desk clerk said the charge would be $72.80 and when I questioned that he said that Travelocity was wrong. When we got into the room it was worn and old with holes in the carpet etc, but the a/c worked and it appeared to be clean. The water pressure was low and there was no coke or candy machine but we made do. At 5 the next morning, I got up and the water was off so no shower or commode or brushing teeth was possible. There was a note at the front counter saying that the water was off and would be looked at asap. Avoid this place at all costs....it's a dump. The last review of this place was in 2010 and a lot has changed in 4 years.

Never Again

Had to call front desk while at front desk for assistance. Guy who was disturbed didn't have any records of our confirmation. He had to go to look and see if they had a room for us. Charged us more per night instead of expedia said. Hope we were not charged by Expedia and hotel. They found one! No inside pool or spa like said. Chickens outside..free! Fight started @ 409am woke us up...which was taken outside below our window...only to hear more violence. Some of this has nothing to do with Expedia. Just really hope credit card was not charged by you.

Decent motel, with some warnings

Expedia check in NOT linked to motel reservations. I had my confirmation number, but the motel had no record of the reservation. Luckily there was a room available and they ware able to accommodate me. Phone system questionable, wifi ok, no pool or other amenities.

NEED TO BULLDOZE THIS PLACE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS.

HOTEL NEEDS UPDATING. WIRES WERE HANGING DOWN IN THE HALL CEILING. MAINTENANCE WAS LACKING. THIS FACILITY HAS BEEN NEGLECTED FOR A LONG TIME. TRAVELERS HAVE VERY FEW OPTIONS IN THIS AREA AND THIS NEEDS TO BE THE LAST PLACE TO STAY.
