If you need a break from the rat race, escape to the mountains of Northern Georgia in this true log cabin with a screened-in deck, private hot tub, bumper pool table and in-room Jacuzzi.
Ideal for a romantic getaway, this Sautee Nacoochee one-bedroom home in the woods is right off Georgia State Route 356, just 15 miles southwest of Lake Burton, a 2,775-acre reservoir fed by the Tallulah River and known for its fishing, hiking, boating, and annual Fourth of July fireworks display! Or journey into the heart of the Bavarian-themed town of Helen with its local eateries, shops, and wineries located four miles away.
Featuring glowing wooden floors, walls, and exposed timber beam ceilings, this quaint log cabin still packs in plenty of modern conveniences to enjoy during your stay. Stow your things in the luggage rack and take a look around!
Step into the great room and feel instantly at ease in a space warmed by a seasonal wood-burning fireplace. Kick back on the log-frame sofa and admire the soft rugs, or chalk up a provided cue and challenge one another to a friendly game (or three) of bumper pool.
While you're welcome to dine at the coffee table in the living room, you can also step outside and enjoy the forested view from your screened-in deck with end table and chairs, private hot tub, and gas grill if you're craving some burgers, hot dogs, or roasted veggies.
Back inside, whip up a complete, home-cooked meal in the full kitchen stocked with a variety of essential accessories, utensils, and appliances including a stainless steel fridge and microwave oven, as well as a stove.
On the other side of the cabin, there's a romantic bedroom with a king bed and a new comforter, and an in-room corner Jacuzzi tub for two. A full bath with tub, shower, and new curtains is located right off the bedroom.
WiFi is provided, and there is also a 42-inch flatscreen cable TV with a DVD player available for movie nights or those lazy, rainy (or snowy) afternoons. Note that up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you during your stay for a small daily pet fee.
Hikers and cyclists will find plenty of fantastic trails throughout the immediate area and a short, one-and-a-half mile drive will deliver you to 44-acre Smith Lake (aka Unicoi Lake) with plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing, and other watersports. Climb into a tube or aboard a raft and race down the winding Chattahoochee River or see the waters from above, dangling from a zipline!
Whether you're thinking of escaping to the region to enjoy a quiet, romantic vacation or you're looking to explore the surrounding mountains, reserve this charming Blue Ridge cabin today and start making those travel plans!
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

The cabin was perfect for a couple and offered a good amount of amenities. The hot tub worked perfectly and there were plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Overall a great stay near Helen, GA!

A picturesque getaway
My wife and I stayed for two nights to get away and this is perfect. The cabin was really clean. The bed was super comfortable and I wish we could’ve stayed one more night. Everyone in Georgia was super friendly and it was so peaceful that I may move out there.

Wonderful little cabin! Perfect for secluded getaway
We loved this little one room cabin in the woods! It was clean, everything worked like it was supposed to, and it had the perfect "mountain house" vibe. Absolutely awesome, we truly enjoyed our stay.
Location was great, close to Helen but not to close. Hot tub worked and was clean. Would go back to this cabin.

Absolutely adorable
My husband and I absolutely LOVED this little cabin. The location is fantastic, far enough from Helen, but close was well. My car did bottom out 2x getting to the house because of the road (I drive a Nissan Altima). We will definitely be renting this house again very soon.
This cabin was the perfect size for us. It was very clean everything worked just right had no issues with the hot tub nor the jetted tub. We would surly visit this location again, however I agree with the other comments the bed needs to be replaced. Outside of that one issue this place would be perfect...
Convenient to many activities. Nice screened porch. Parking on level with the door.

Cute + quaint couple getaway
We loved our stay at this little cabin! It’s small -and the setup is perfect for 2. We loved the screened in porch. It was 12 minutes from Helen. If you are a light sleeper, be ready to hear rain and anything falling from the trees on the roof at night. That was a bit loud but relaxing too.

A great getaway!
This cabin is exactly as advertised, in the best way possible. It was 'secluded,' in that it was removed from any town and was kept private by the forest around it, but was also close enough to other cabins that if an emergency occurred somebody could be notified. While there was little to no cell service, the wifi worked very well. The air conditioning and water heater worked perfectly, which was a pleasant surprise going into a weekend in a cabin in the summer! The hot tub was clean and pleasant and the whole place was very well cleaned. We were very happy and felt it was very much worth the price, and if we find ourselves in Helen again, will be returning!
Stayed in winter and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi, built a fire, learned how to play bumper pool, cooked a meal, and watched a movie.
Cabin was very cute. Bed was comfortable. Be aware, regular fireplace, no fires allowed after April 15. We went May 1 and temps dropped down to the 40-50s so it was a little cold but they did provide a little electric heater if needed. Pros- close to Helen, comfortable for two people, near Hoochee’s River basket which doesn’t look like much but has great food! Good water pressure in shower. Cons- rugs were in desperate need of a good clean, light in hot tub does not work. Overall a good stay but I will definitely look for a place with an electric or gas fireplace next time.
