Unfortunately property feels a bit run down and the friendliness of the staff doesn't make up for that.

As always, we enjoyed our visit at the Biltmore Greensboro. The only thing we had a "problem" with was the mattress. It felt old, but we were able to get a good night's sleep anyway. We are also sorry to hear about the sale of the hotel--it's been a favorite of ours for years. Good luck to all.

This hotel was great. Lots of character! I chose this over a close by chain for a more interesting vibe. The elevator and the rooms...and the whole place was great. The oldest working elevator in Greensboro! Staff were great, welcoming, and helful.

The place was nice and the staff was amazing. I wasn't prepared for the age of the hotel and the elevator was more than I could handle at 1am when all I wanted was sleep. The location was perfect, just not for me.

The room was unsanitary and had toilet paper roll issues. The sheets were scratchy and the noise level coming from next door was unacceptable. Old building and worn out rooms. Stay somewhere else.

I loved the history of the hotel and the manager, Bryan, was impressive beyond all expectations. He was gracious, informative, enthusiastic, passionate and I could have listened all day as we took us through the formation of Greeensboro. My hope is that the hotel will be preserved to secure the history and stand as the institution that it is. It is a gem and deserves to be treated as such.
