"Rooms are ok very large. Stay was fine and had room cleaned once over the 3 days. Asked for ice and a new tv remote battery and both requested were completed in less than 10 minutes. Nice and central. Coffee shop on federation street right across from the main entrance is a must go. Coffee excellent and we all loved the breakfast options. Healthy and tasty. "

"The room was horrible n cramped!! Everything in the entire building is Sooo Dark n Black you can’t see anything or even find space for ur luggage. The bed is in a hole with no way around it! Worst of all there is no AC at all so you are in a sweat house room. The Worst Hotel accommodations in 3 weeks of NZ travel. Horribly uncomfortable place! Never stay there Dear Reader!!"

The rooms were spacious and well equiped bit what made our stay at the Horizon so special was the staff. They wern't just polite and curtious, they were all very warm, friendly and eager to please and as I was getting married for the second time they had lots lots of little suprises awaiting us.
