Overall we had a good holiday. But the service was not consistently good enough. For example the WiFi signal did not extend to pool side & on several occasions there was no service at all, without any explanations. The pool side facilities re sun beds and umbrellas was far from satisfactory. Only following complaints that people could not find beds or shade did the management instruct the staff to remove towels from unused beds and to find and move furniture for customers. This was carried out with great efficiency by a more senior member of staff, but he only came to the pool side on two of the days, everyday the young lads on duty could only just bring themselves to hand over towels, but even then only grudgingly and offered no warmth, yet alone service. Bar staff and serving staff in all restaurants ad bars were helpful, efficient and pleasant. The food was good, except in the main restaurant that was over priced, over fussy and not tasty - it attempted haute cuisine, but failed. Breakfast food, service, range of foods and quality were very good. Housekeeping staff were consistently polite and biddable. The location of the indoor pool and the Jacuzzi's were fantastic views was a superb experience and again the staff were charming and helpful.
Overall great, although at a stiff price (was peak season). The private beach is beautiful, although the pebbles can be annoying. You can buy water shoes in the hotel shop for not very much to counter that. The food prices in the hotel are not too bad, given it is a 5 star hotel. There are a few places to eat around the hotel too, so you do not need to head into the old town for every meal.

Hoetl Petka is located in a great location, less than 3km from the Old Town. You ate away from the hustle & bustle, but close enough to walk in or takd the local bus, which is about a 10mins ride.
I had a seaview room which was comfortable, clean & spacious. And with breakfast included in the package, it's s great arrangement.

Overall the hotel was great and the staff amazing, friendly and hospitable. We were greeted by the guest services manager who always checked up on us, ensuring we were having a great time. The only small complaint would be that being a Diamond hilton member I would have thought we would get an upgrade which we didn't (we booked a suite but a nicer room was available per their reservations site but I didn't want to complain). Regardless I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
