Large home, easily accommodates large families. Be aware, you're actually getting two homes with this listing... separate bedrooms, living space, and kitchen. This was perfect for us, each having their own privacy. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home and enjoy the beautiful view!
We brought our father back to his hometown to celebrate his 90th birthday. This house provided enough room for 10 adults. Large kitchen, plenty of dining space. Having the separate cottage was a plus. The peaceful lakefront setting was beautiful. In my opinion the house is nicer than the pictures portray.
The stay in this home was wonderful. The property was large enough for a family gathering. The landscaping was beautiful and well manicured. The children loved being on the dock and feeding the fish! Thanks for a great experience!
Wonderful stay with the family for a fishing tournament. House has everything you need. Very clean . And the owners are wonderful .
Very close to the ramps .
We will definitely stay here next time.
We had a wonderful time! Everything was as stated in the listing. We had all of the supplies we needed. The owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend.
House is great the not having power at boat dock would be the only suggested fix

Wonderful, roomy rental
We had 9 adults and 8 children together for 7 days. I don't think we could have found a better place for a group that size. There was plenty of room for us all to gather along with 9 extra visitors for a birthday gathering for our 90 year old head of the family and lots of room when any of us needed a break from the crowd. Seminole State Park is close enough for the kids to swim and some of us even took a day trip to Panama City Beach for some Gulf swimming. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Thank you.
We loved our weeklong stay in July. It rained a lot but that didn't dampen our spirits as we had plenty of room inside. The space was well equipped for 9 adults and three children. The youngest was 22 months so we brought along a portable gate for the open stairs. We cooked and played games and explored nature. The hosts were marvelous, the a/c went out one day, I messaged the host and a repairman arrived the same day. Plenty of hot water, oh so comfy mattresses and a/c was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with two ovens, two countertop stoves and accessories. We all take turns baking and cooking and the stores for replenishing were fairly near. Thank you so much for sharing your lake side retreat.
My family and I was amazed at how beautiful and spacious the cabin was. I enjoyed relaxing in the swing on the dock overlooking the lake. We didn’t catch any fish but we enjoyed trying to. It was the perfect place to host my family Christmas away from home. Planning on going back this summer.
This was a good spot to fit all of the family. 3 different house units with plenty of beds for all. Hot tub and canoe was a nice touch.
Only spent 2 nights and most of the day we were out.
Some of the furniture needs deep cleaning (upstairs chaise lounge).
We had a wonderful time! This was the first time that all of our family, children and grandchildren, were able to all be together at the same time. We had plenty of space for all of us which we had 18 total. Mr. Greg was very nice. He was laying fresh pine straw down in the beds. The yard has several fruit trees which was nice.
There are limited grocery stores near the property but we knew that ahead of time and shopped on the way in. I would do it again. We had a lot of fun.

Birthday girls trip
Overall it was a pretty good stay because we made it a good stay but the air didn't get as cold as it should have been considering how hot it was outside even after lowering the temperature. The refrigerator had an odor and had stuff in it and we didn't have enough room in the main house for everything we wanted on there we had to go back and forth from the main house to the second building to use the refrigerator. There was no room for the trash the trash bin was half full when we go there so we didn't have room for all the trash. Someone's big dog came over we were scared to go outside and he went in the trash and tore it up and left us picking trash. Loved the kitchen but I don't know if the small flying bug were coming from the trash compactor or what but the kitchen area keep little flying bug (not gnats or mosquitoes). I didn't like that the 3rd building was like a storage area and we had to use it and made it a little creepy to stay in. It wasn't an awful spot to stay but I expected the 2 side houses to be better.

Nice property but needs deep cleaning!
Let me begin by saying the property itself is beautiful and main house spacious! But I do feel that the listing is inaccurately portrayed. First of all there are 3 seperate buildings for accommodations and only two are inhabitable. The main house was spacious, semi-clean and welcoming bedrooms. The second attached, was slightly more rustic and less clean. And the third boat house building was disgusting! When we first walked in I thought it was clearly the owner’s storage shed and could not possibly be where the additional rooms were. We had 20 family members and needed the beds/rooms. We finally found the hidden stairs that led to the additional rooms. There were bugs in the corners of the rooms, a full trash can from previous guests, food left in the refrigerator, and floors that had clearly not been swept or mopped in awhile. Honestly if this is due to your cleaning service, it’s time to find a new one! Although we were not expecting luxury, I do feel some simple basic refurbishing and deep cleaning are in order. I was also told I would see the owner at some point during the weekend and would address these issues with her, who has been very nice in communication prior to our trip.
I have rented many listings from VRBO over the years and one of my family members is also a rental owner. There are just some things that are non-negotiable for me...clean is one of them!
Wonderful stay and very spacious. Extremely accommodating and nice view of lake.
Our family had an enjoyable time and our host was accommodating and responded quickly with all our questions. Lots and lots of room.

Family Accommodation Vacation
This was a home-style vacation. Yes, it is apparently the primary residence of the owners, so closet space and refrigerator space are limited, but that just means it is more like an "airb&b" stay than a formal vacation rental. If you prefer a more sterile environment, then bring a tub of disinfectant wipes. The space is generous and comfortable with plenty of home touches you wouldn't have space to pack and bring with you. Dining space is generous. There is a charcoal grill and a gas griddle for use. The water at the dock is deep enough for boating and fishing. The hot tub was not filled for our visit, but we did not ask for it to be made ready. Some in our party did not have cell phone reception, but the main house (only) does have WIFI. It was wonderful family time and felt like going to grandma's house.
We in joyed the out side seating and the Boat House

Not what you would expect
1 Star................... This place was not as advertised at all. In the add it noted secluded. The neighbors house literally 100 feet away on both sides. We enter the house and it was a huge shock. It was far from clean. Prior to bringing in our bags we bleach wiped everything and had to clean the bathrooms. No where did they state that this was someones personal home that was just to be borrowed. The refrigerator was full of food including dairy products which was indicative of recent people living there. We had no room for our food and it felt creepy staying in someones home the entire weekend. Some of us refused to sleep in the beds, they were well made up but clearly old home sheets, suitable for your sister or brother but not a stranger that's paying to stay there,. Finally we got passed the creepiness and were all sitting on the back patio around a fire pit when a woman from across the street came over while on the phone with the owner who said she received a complaint from several neighbors. The woman then says to the owners "it's clearly a family and I have to be honest I don't understand what the complaints could be". She apologized and left. No sooner the police arrives,, same scenario, basically says he has been sent on a wild goose chase. It was obvious that we were of the wrong skin tone for the "secluded" not so secluded neighborhood. Because we are who we are, we left the place immaculate, cleaner than we received it. Needless to say this was NOT a cabin, NOT secluded and not for EVERYONE. For the amount of money per night this was unacceptable and the pics are definitely misleading. The owners were very pleasant but really do need to reconsider renting on VRBO.
