Twin beds requested at time of online booking were not noted by the staff. We had to request twice for the beds and linen to be corrected. Our ground floor room, without air conditioning, was stifflingly hot and it was unsafe to open the doors while sleeping at night. We requested a new room the next morning, and were (eventually) given a very nice upgrade to a 4th floor room with a balcony with a view to the mountains. Great breakfast buffet and attentive wait staff. Internet point in the lobby was appreciated.
Can only suggest one thing. When we were woken at 3:30 am by drunken hoteliers when we complained in the morning we were told those guests making the noise paid more for their rooms. Still in shock remembering those words which seemed to endorse the thuggish behaviour. Apart from that episode the hotel was charming.

My family and I had a fabulous stay . The staff are friendly and helpful . Our rooms were superb . The breakfast on offer is everything you would expect from a four star hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend cresta et duc and indeed cannot wait to return . The location is also perfect for the town and slopes alike

"Great place, just make sure to confirm the booking"
We booked a room in November 2013 for stay in Feb 2014. Unfortunately there was a mix-up and they forgot to make the booking - called us on the morning of the arrival that there are no rooms available but they can offer either a room over a garage instead or a different hotel. Neither option was acceptable so after stressful discussions both with Expedia and the hotel directly we eventually managed to get a room (someone else agreed to move).
Despite this unfortunate start we had a great time. Fantastic atmosphere and great food. It was less than 5 minute walk to the gondola (the better one that runs more often). It was also very close to the slopes if you'd want to ski in an out (we haven't). Rooms were done in old fashioned style, loads of wood and beautiful views. We also used the sauna a couple of times (it's included).

Excellent customer service!! We arrived at 10:30 in the morning tired and dirty from hiking the TMB and they let us check-in no questions asked. We were so appreciative of this! They did not tell us to come back at 3 for proper check-in time or charge us extra for an early check-in like most hotels! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel was a short walk from the restaurants and shops which didn't bother us at all. It also offers beautiful views of the mountains from the windows. The rooms were very clean. The windows opened wide offering a nice breeze as there was no air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet which was included with our room package was to be served starting at 7:30 but we asked for it at 7 instead as we had to leave early and they made sure it was all ready earlier just for us! I can say it enough, their customer service is top notch!!!

All good. Hotel with character and friendly staff. The food was really good too.
Entreves is tiny but it is pretty. Courmayeur is not far although the short taxi ride back from a evening in Courmayeur was a pricey 20 euro
