Stay Albert 250 High street, Columbus.
I stayed in a 10th floor, 1 bedroom condo. The view was stunning after dark.
The apartment was sparely furnished, had really cold floor, and was huge. There was exactly the bare minimum of place settings for 4, with tiny bowls and giant spoons. The lighting was poor enough that I didn't even find the bedroom closet until day 2. Overall nice place, good security (aka really hard to get in the first time). To get in: READ and screenshot not just the instructions they email but also each of the 1-7 steps listed after you log in to the link they send. The building is a mile/20 min walk to the convention center, with free "circulator" busses running by every 10 min or so. Right across the street from good eats at the Goat, close to govt buildings, etc. Bus goes N past the convention center and south to 1 block from Kroger grocery.
Parking NOT INCLUDED but the building butts up against the Main parking garage, $12/24 hr. Once you have an apartment key you can access the parking garage thru 2nd floor exit.
Area--there are working people and not-working-much people. No aggressive panhandling, but perhaps an opportunisticly loose definition of what belongs to whom, so don't leave any packages lying behind when you get off the bus.
Bottom line:I'd stay there again.
