"Hotel is progressively improving their service."
Have been there four times this year, noticing improvements on each visit (much more to do). Approach from hotel staff is now a plus, making guests feel 'welcomed', this is a big change. Activities for children (very simple & basic) are now frequent, and it seems to be a good start, families will for sure recognize this aspect, if it continues improving. Nights at the main bar are very active (live music, karaoke, for people willing to have few drinks), and hope they soon offer a 2nd option for non-drinkers & families (small show?, family games?, bingo?). Would love seeing the hotel's general manager interacting with guests.

    Colon Accommodation Guide

Situated on the Caribbean side of the Panama Canal, Colon boasts 3 modern ports. The city is the second largest in Panama, and the second largest duty-free port in the world. A free-trade zone with more than 1,000 companies spans approximately 600 acres. Founded on Manzanillo Island, the city has expanded its limits to include several former Canal Zone towns and the US Army base of Fort Gulick.
