Hotel is nice. But there was no lift in the 2nd building of the hotel so i have to take the stairs to 5th floor. No glass in the room fo water drink.

The hotel is close to the Dom. That is the only good thing. It is run down, dirty, smelled of smoke and the noise from the street was unbelievably loud. It was like spending the night in a night club with music blasting, people talking and pounding on doors. Although the breakfast was good, the woman who worked in the breakfast room was rude. Also, there was no stopper for the bath. When we asked for one, we were simply told there isn't one. I would never stay there again.

This was the perfect location. the room itself was large, clean and we liked the layout with a separate bedroom. the hot water did not last long for showers, and the 4 flights of stairs was not desirable - the location to train station, cathedral, shops and restaurants made it a great stay.

More like a hostel than a hotel, very basic but we only needed somewhere to sleep. However the smell of cigarette smoke coming through under the doors and through the vents was horrific and spoilt our stay

Constant smell of smoke, no service

Room was clean, but the constant cigarette smoke emanating from outside and the lack of response from the company. I checked out a day early, they had no internet so the front desk lady assured me I would be refunded for my last night, but due to their internet being out when I checked out I was hoping they would follow through. It’s been 11 days and I’ve attempted 2 contacts and nothing. Not even a response. The location is great, literally 2 min from the cathedral. Food close was good.

This hotel has an excellent location. Close to the train station and metro. It has the Cathedral at walking distance of two blocks Shopping and attractions. I would highly recommend it.

Basic but convenient

It was clean and a good location is was ideal as a base for us we only use the room to freshen up and sleep. Walking distance from the train station and shops. On check in the receptionist didn’t give a warm welcome didn’t really communicate but would happy stay here again for location and convenience. Good value for money.

Good clean cheap

It’s a nice place. I stayed in the new renuated part of the hotel. Checkinn very smooth. Chef is very nice & made special omlette for me for breakfast. Over all value for money. Location excellent 2 mins from koln HBF.

Great and central

Good room with everything required. Very hot and only a tiny fan but you can’t control the weather. Location could not have been better but noisy in the morning with a church bell at 7.30! Lovely thiugh

It was okay. The beds were very clean. However, the door lock was extremely difficult to open, the TV in the main room was missing, the TV in the loft bedroom was broken, and our plug-in heater was missing a wheel so couldn’t stay upright. I would not have stayed if we were staying more than one night.

Hotel is in an excellent location but the place stinks of smoke and we did not have 1 drop of hot water for our entire 24hr stay in the hotel. This made things very uncomfortable as it was freezing outside and we’d been traveling all day, so to not be able to shower was unacceptable. I tried speaking to the hotel clerk about it and basically just got blown off. Would not stay here again even if it’s cheap and location is great.
