Bootcamp graduation stay

If you are looking for a place to stay for bootcamp graduation this is a great place. It’s minutes from the base. The pictures are accurate and the house had plenty of space for five people. Close to shopping, fast food, and casino.

Host was very accommodating! We came out from Massachusetts! For our daughters Navy Graduation from boot camp! We Drove straight out from Massachusetts to Great Lakes Illinois which was 15 hours! We contacted our host and asked if we could check in early! And we were able to which was extremely kind of our host! We had a wonderful weekend with our Sailor! Very close to everything! Looking for a place to stay for a Navy Graduation this is the place!!

Great space for me and my friends. Nice little porch as well. The one bedroom without the window unit gets very hot.. even with all the fans going. Other than that.. great place to stay!

Our stay was wondering and the house is adorable. The location was convenient to the Naval base where our son is. We were there for his Navy bootcamp graduation. Nesha was absolutely wonderful and she made this trip to see our son that much better. If we come back, we hope her house is available!

Proximity to GL Recruitment Center

The proximity to Great Lakes Recruitment Center, Sarge’s Meet & Greet, restaurants, etc. is perfect. We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer. It was great to be able to relax, watch movies, just hang out with our sailor for the precious two days we had. This place has location, location, location if you’re coming in for boot camp graduation.

Perfect for Navy graduation stay

We spent Wed-Sun for my son’s PIR, and the house truly felt like a home away from home. So many great memories of a lifetime made in the space! The best part was the hostess-Ms. Nesha, she worked with me on EVERYTHING, including giving me an extra 7 hours before we checkout due to our plans changing and not wanting to leave my son alone for his last afternoon of Liberty…which was SO meaningful and appreciated! The neighborhood is a *real* Chicago feel, and the neighbors are so polite and wave/speak when prompted-big deal for us southerners! I hope to be able to return to this house someday, I highly recommend it to anyone needing a memorable week/weekend with their future sailor!

Lovely house

Check in instructions were easy. Nice neighborhood. Nice deck. Mostly fenced in back yard (fence has a few holes in it). House was very clean and spacious! The bathroom is kind of small so not much room for things in there. Only complaint were the beds. They were kinda hard. But we would stay again if we ever come back with the same amount of people!

The home is exactly as described…VERY comfortable beds and living room. Bed linens and towels are a great quality. Clean all around. I can tell great effort has been made to make our stay comfortable. Great location, as the home is just minutes away from the Great Lakes Navy Base where we attended Bootcamp Graduation for my daughter, as well as taking her back and forth from Base for her Liberty time. Close to shopping and dining.Only 35 minutes to O’Hare Airport, which was an easy commute. The owner, Nesha, was fantastic to work with!!! Please note that this is an older home, so a few squeaky doors and floors, which is normal. Also, a steep staircase as you enter the home, which can be difficult for some people. Overall, I highly recommend this home.

Location is everything!

I booked this property because I and a few family members were in town for my son's Navy Boot Camp graduation. This spot was so conveniently close that we were pleasantly surprised. The spot was in a neighborhood that was also close to food if you didn't cook, as well a grocery store in case you did. The host was most cordial and immediately available if you had a need. I would greatly recommend this spot if you are visiting North Chicago. I can't voice my gratitude enough for this gem. Try it, I can assure, you won't be disappointed. Oh, by the way, the price is also right. I'm not over exaggerating, this rental was perfect for my trip. ST from NC 3/20 thru 3/24
