This is a nice property and close to downtown Chicago. And great for walking along the nearby lake front. Good friendly staff. Snacks available but no restaurant. However there are several restaurants in the area and some deliver.

Walkable to Hyde Park Community Arts bldg with its changing displays and coffee shop--and to Whole Foods; very short drive to Court Theater and museums. Great views of Lake Michigan and Chicago skyline. Keeps changing hands but stable right now.

Happy reset trip

My trip was very good the staff was friendly and very helpful I had a problem with my card at first but they understood and waited til I called bank and fix things I would definitely be back when passing through for work trips. Thanks for everyone

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a fairly new property near the Lake. Easy walk to Metra and Hyde Park. If you are driving, there's a secure parking area with EV charging. My only suggestion would be to replace the shower heads -- they spray options didn't work, but it had plenty of hot water and nice toiletries so not much to complain about. Would definitely stay here again.

Outside pictures deceiving but good hotel inside

The hotel itself was ok but the environment (location) was not the greatest I didn’t feel safe coming in late at night and leaving my vehicle parked out front of the hotel The gated parking lot was very small and didn’t have adequate parking. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable which made me feel more at ease

Nice location and I love the free parking; however, one should read the news and be conscious of the Chicago news as they are managing a migration and neighbors without walls population. If you're looking for a place to crash for the night after a day in Hyde park, it's the most convenient and economical. I'd do it again.

The property includes free parking, which is hard to come by in the city. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast didn't have much of a variety, but it was good. Our last stay at a Best Western Premier; this one was a Best Western Plus. The difference is quite stark in asthetic quality. This location didn't have any restaurants or places of interest nearby.

Not so smoke free.

The hotel itself was decent enough, and the location was great. The issues I had were that the hotel reeked of marijuana smoke and the other guests were extremely noisy till verry late. Also, there is a homeless shelter that has been set up in the building next to the hotel, which unfortunately led to lots of loitering in front of the hotel, as well as a constant police presence.

Somewhat pricey. Good location. Clean. Quiet. No recycling. Tiny plastic toiletry bottles. Behind the times.

Smelly but functional

Good location, fair price for the area, better than average parking, and parking is included up to 2 vehicles per room. Included breakfast that was ok. I would say didn’t match price point but was better than nothing. They had a bunch of snacks you can purchase but they were very overpriced. $3 for a 12 oz can of soda. Room was hot and smelled bad. Luckily my coworker had fabreeze because it was necessary.
Need air freshener for room.
