Sophie Cabin | National Forest Tiny Cabin

Welcome to Sophie Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. During your stay, you will have access to a range of amenities, including a private hot tub, furnished back deck, shared fire pit, covered front porch with a charcoal grill, and a charming space surrounded by nature. Sophie Cabin sleeps up to six guests and features a main bedroom, built-in bunk beds, and a sleeping loft.

Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. Birthday Getaway

This was our second time staying here at the Sophie cabin. Both times it was clean and cozy. Highly recommend for a small trip or even a good vacation with your family! Looking forward to bringing our kiddos next time!

The Perfect Spot

Sophie cabin is a perfect setup for a family of four. We stayed for two nights and the cabin was very well appointed, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right near downtown.

Sophie Cabin

We loved our stay at the Sophie Cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and very close to downtown but private enough away to feel away from the city. Highly recommend!

Overall we loved this property. The layout and decoration was cute and it was a perfect little spot for our family to stay while passing through the area. We only spent one night and were sad that we didn't get to take full advantage of staying on site. We thought the cabin was comfortable and wish we could have stayed longer.The only real complaint we had was that there were ants crawling on the wall in the bedroom which we noticed after my wife and I both said we felt like things were crawling on us all night. Turns out they were, but hey we are in the woods, so bugs should be an understood potential. Seems like an easy fix.

Great getaway

We stayed overnight for a trip to the local aquarium. We arrived and had a lovely time. The kids loved the hot tub and the choice of a bunk house or a loft. We loved the space was clean, had everything we needed and felt cozy and comfortable.

Nothing short of amazing!!!!!

It was the best time! Our first time in Chattanooga and we absolutely loved it! This tiny home was cute quiet and quaint! The property is adorable! The family that owns it did an amazing job! The lights come on at dusk and the feeling you get walking by all the tiny cabins is majestic! I have zero complaints! They even sell wood for the fire pits so you can joy the fire at night!

Overall a cute little place. Some refreshing is needed. The bathroom door doesn’t shut tight and often has a crack people can see in. Maybe off track. The floor has some warping and wear but the beds were comfy and the cabin was super cute

Great customer service

We arrived late at night and had issues using the code to open the door. A quick call to the number listed connected us to a property manager agent. Two minutes later we were inside relaxing. Appreciate the full time service. The house was cozy and clean. Thanks!

Perfect location and ideal space.

This tiny home was so much fun to stay in with my significant other, my 14 year old daughter, and 10 year old son. We roasted s’mores and explored a few of the nearby trails. Attractions and restaurants were all 5-15 mins away. We had a hiccup with some rowdy trespassers but management responded immediately and sent people to patrol the next night as well. Can’t say enough good things about how well this was managed. The cabin itself was well furnished and the checkout instructions were super easy to follow. Coming from the Gulf Coast where beach condo checkouts can be extensive with poorly stocked kitchens, this was an incredible surprise. They supplied ground coffee, filters, extra trash bags and even had a wine opener. Very basic tasks prior to checkout. We loved it so much we plan to check out their sister properties in other cities.

What a great experience! Adorable tiny cabin in the woods. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying the night here. The cabin was so clean, cute, and cozy. Communication with the owners was easy and seamless. The location was perfect for what we needed. We definitely hope to come again!

Was a great stay! Close to the aquarium and downtown! Loved the trains and over all a nice place. I wouldn’t want to go when it is busy season do to how close the cabins are together! Over all a great place for family!

Exactly as described and a bit more

We were stopping through the area during travels and had a great stay. It was perfect for our family of 4 and would be great for even a large family. We had so much extra space and our one and three year old had several great places for sleeping.

Cute cozy cabin

We stopped here for one night on our way to Florida and really wish we would have had more time there! My 8 year old daughters loved the loft area , the cabin made great use of the small space, it was clean and surrounded by nature. We hope to be back!
