Very unique!! No curtains, especially in summertime with the early light a must. Overall smudgy, the place and rooms definitely need cleaning. The plumbing needs renovation. An overall survival experience. Ok the sheets were clean...

Good location

A bit worn hotel, but the location is great. The room was okay but warm and lacked air conditioning, which made the stay less comfortable. We arrived late and were let in using a door code. Be aware of the limited opening hours of the reception and that breakfast is not necessarily an option. No worries, though, as there are nice French bakeries just around the corner. Overall, it's okay value for the money.

Not as nice as the picture looks

The hotel had made a mistake with the booking. We had booked a double but they had us down as 2 single rooms. Therefore our room was cramped for 2 people. We asked for a bigger room but they didn't have one. We decided we couldn't stay. I went to tell them. They were then having a conversation about the mistake butt couldn't do anything. The room I booked was non refundable but as this wasn't my mistake we should have had one. Not a good experience. We went to Kyriad. Much better.

Historic Area - Clean Room

Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm.

A FUIR…. Passez votre route

À part le confort du lit, tout le reste est à fuir. L’ensemble est sale ltrès vieillot humide WC pour nains de jardin. Salle de bain j’ai pas eu les cafards mais je les attendais . Plancher bois sous lino bancal, on se demande si on va pas passer à travers… Bon j’arrête de tirer sur l’ambulance, il faudrait une sérieuse réhabilitation car même les photos du site sont mensongères ou alors pas récentes

Lors de notre réservation, personne ne nous a indiqué que c'était fermé le jeudi. Donc, arrivé sur les lieux, surprise, aucun accueil. Après quelques minutes, nous avons vu une banale feuille avec un numéro de téléphone à joindre. Super après les heures de route. Cette personne jointe nous indique les démarches à suivre sans se déplacer et surprise déjà à l'ouverture de la porte, la propreté, inconnu dans l'hôtel, puis nous sommes montés jusqu'à la chambre. État pitoyable nous avons donc remis les clefs sur le lit et sommes partis. Nous avons avisé l'office de tourisme, non surpris. Je demande remboursement de mes frais sans retour de votre part sous 15 jours, je ferai une procédure. Je suis correct j'attends.

Hôtel , restaurant d'aspect sympathique, belle façade. La chambre, de la poussière sur les barres de chaises, chauffage électrique avec de la crasse , moquette douteuse; La SDB... là c'est le summum... rideau crasseux, cuvette des WC noire et la douche.. indescriptible...cabine douche rouillée, fond de douche?? indescriptible... le lit était confortable, une ile confortable dans cet environnement.............

Honteux Chambre froide, sale avec une odeur trés forte de tabac piteuse état. Les meubles cassés. Salle de bain sale sans eau , aprés une attente d'une heure 30 pour savoir si l'eau était revenue, toujours rien Ce n'est pas correct de recevoir des clients dans une chambre comme celle là.et surtout que cette hôtel figure sur plusieurs site de réservation Tout l'hôtel est dans un état catastrophique. Nous avons dû rechercher un autre établissement pour la nuit à une dizaine de kms. J'espére que la site de réservation va nos rembourser

Chambre froide, sale avec un chauffage d'appoint en piteuse état. Les meubles etaient soit sales soit cassés. Pas de porte entre la salle de bain/wc et la chambre. Salle de bain sale, pommeau de douche cassé, plafond avec infiltration d'eau. Ce n'est pas correct de recevoir des gens dans une chambre comme celle là. Tout l'hôtel est dans un état catastrophique.

c'est ok

Il faut bien dormir quelque part lorsque l'on ne peut pas rentrer chez soi. Hotel pas cher mais c'est vraiment basic. Accueil sympatique. L'eau chaud à mis beaucoup de temps à arriver, l'oreiller a la taille d'un petit coussin de canapé, Le chauffage d'appoint posé au sol sans pied ni roulette chauffe mais c'est dommage de ne pas utiliser les radiateurs principaux. La grande fenètre sans rideau....ha oui il faut fermer le volet ! minimum ! Restaurant était correct. Petit déjeuner dans l'hotel d'à coté 200m ...ok .
