Lovely manor with owners personal touches.
We were very comfortable and looked after well. Beautiful place close enough to Canberra, but far enough out for peace and quiet.
The homestead was a lovely place to stay.
It was like being at home.
I loved that there was a generous breakfast selection, including fresh juice, T2 teas and crumpets.
The homestead was warm on arrival and there was also a roaring fire in the sitting room as well as complimentary port to enjoy. Our room was warm, as well there was a heater and 'mink' blankets just in case you were chilly.
Very close to the heart of Canberra but miles from anywhere. Quiet house with lovely common areas and a very comfy bedroom. Continental breakfast wide choices and great coffee machine.
Gininderry was only built recently so has modern, ecologically conscious design and country comfort with all the charm of a 19th century homestead.
Great attention to detail, welcoming hostess and spacious grounds with a truly lovely garden.
Gininderry does a lot of weddings but just as nice for the casual visitor to Canberra and/or Yass district, or anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.
If you're going on business, make sure you have a car; taxi is $50-$60 from the CBD. I recommend you eat before you arrive (or bring take-out with you); Continental breakfast is good but there is no hot food. Be prepared to spend time on your own, but when you do meet the owner/staff at breakfast time, they are friendly enough. The heating was such that the room was either too cold or if you leave the fire on, the nights get too hot.
Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Fantastic; Service: Remarkable; Cleanliness: Spotless;
The host was very attentive and made everthing possible for a comfortable stay
