As beautiful as it looks, maybe even better
We were very happy with the human side of this resort. The staff became family, we were just DELIGHTED with them all of the time. Of course we didn't have the best of weather, the amenities like hot water and wifi came and went, but if anything it added to the fun. We were blessed with a small crowd of like minded individuals who made meals and activities together just relaxing and rewarding. We were on our 50 year "honeymoon" and there were some Americans on their first one. The food was delicious, cooked to order and all fresh. The activities were interesting (visits to villages including drinking Kava and learning about the culture) hiking, snorkeling, which we Australians thought was beautiful. They also invited dive groups and the couples that went were very satisfied. All of the staff, as I said, became family, making us laugh and almost cry when we left. On a word of caution, I would mention that some of the 'activities' had a charge (not much) that we weren't aware of till we checked out, but it wasn't much. We brought mosquito coils and personal spray but were delighted to find they had already provided those things. (there WERE mosquitos) I think the basic Bure was even better that what we saw of the honeymoon cabins, except that we had a pump toilet (no big deal, again adding to the adventure)
Oh and as a last note, the "2" left in the reviews (we asked) was someone who's personal plans fell apart so they blamed the resort. Seriously......
