Pepin Retreat @ Brickyard Creek, Bayfield

Pepin Retreat is a two-building accommodation located in the boreal forests of Brickyard Creek. The main lodge has a beautiful open-floor plan and sleeps up to five guests. The main floor features a king suite with a connecting bathroom, full kitchen, great room, and oversized screened-in porch. Walk up that stairs to a second bath and double queen bedroom that overlooks the lower level of the home. Pep’s Place is the second, smaller cabin connected to the main house by a large deck; this unit can comfortably accommodate two with a queen bed, private bathroom, and kitchenette. Pepin Retreat has a modern Northwoods-chic style and is wonderful for larger families or groups.



Step outside the cabin door to explore privately maintained Brickyard Creek trails covering 70-acres of beautiful Boreal forest or meander to the private community’s sandy beach with access to a picnic area and lakeside fire pit looking out to the Apostle Islands.



*Due to Brickyard Creek Policies and Safety concerns, the fireplace is off-limits to guests*

Apostle Island Vacation

Great location for our family, as it was convenient for everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed the sightseeing, hiking, kayaking, restaurants, and shopping the area had to offer.

Family get together

First time in Bayfield and we loved the area. The house was clean, nicely decorated, cozy, and comfortable for 3 couples. The beds were comfortable and had great linens and pillows. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place

We loved our stay at Pepin cabin. It was in a nice wooded location outside of town and very peaceful! We enjoyed the close location to a beach and the wildlfe that was curious about us. It was the perfect size for our group and the little bonus cabin was so cozy for my son and girlfriend so they had a little more privacy. The only complaints we would have is the woodchops used for the path from where we parked to the house made it a little messy and we swept the front a few times to stop tracking it into the house. Also, there was a little deck between the 2 cabins and there were some broken boards that were a tripping hazard. Thank you for your hospitality!

Family vacation

We went up as a group with my wife and 2 kids, and our brother/sister in law and niece/nephew. Had a great time, house was perfect size for the 8 of us. Beautiful home and area, had a great time!

I loved this property! it is set in the woods and a short walk to lake superior. There is a lot of wild life. We saw a fox and some deer. The place was a perfect fit for the 6 of us. we all had our own space, and my son and his girlfriend had there own place off the deck. They had a nice webber grill and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals. The hosts were wonderful, quickly answering questions and making sure we were comfortable. They even came to the place when we heard a repeating noise. Turns out it was wild Grouse trying to find a mate. We loved listening to that after we found out what it was. I highly recommend this place.

Great stay! Place was clean and exactly as described. Thing to note: the house and detached cabin both do not have AC! Suggestion: add more fans (1 fan available between 2 bedroooms in main house and detached cabin.

Beautiful home in the woods. So peaceful. Our host has everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The location was perfect. Just a quick two mile drive into Bayfield. We especially loved the pristine trails and short walk down to the marina. I highly recommend the Pepin Retreat.

Great house. Quiet, the second cottage works great for additional sleeping space. Good access to a private beach by the marina. Hiking trails and grocery down the road. 2 miles from town.

Beautiful property

Holy cow!! This place is amazing. Perfect place for families. CLEAN!!! And they had every utensil you would need in the kitchen. Beds super comfy, towels looked new and were nice. Pillows great. Very close to Bayfield. Super quiet and peaceful. Short walking trails close by. I highly recommend.

Divine

Pepin Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. Just right for out small retreat group. With nice open floor plan and gathering space both inside and out. We loved the screened in porch which served as a space to sit, reflect and meditate as well as protection from the mosquito population. The little cottage was perfect fit for the special need person in our group. Our retreat group really appreciated the care that was taken in respecting the trees and nature and the small foot print of the cabin. We felt held by the trees and nature. The trail to the marina is a delightful meandering with birds and animals saying "hi" along the way. Thank you for the care that was taken in the building of the lodge with respect to nature. And for the great care that is taken with caring for the lodge itself. The integrity and care is palpable. Well done.
