What a disgusting excuse for a hostel! When I booked I didn’t expect much but what I found when I arrived was disappointing
- Mold in bathroom and the bathroom just generally needing a deep clean
- blankets smelt terrible
- pillows were yellow and brought second hand from Salvation Army (the price tag of $5 was still left on them)
-extremely loud you can hear every move that the person next door made
- stupid glass panel above door that lets in a lot of light making it difficult to sleep
- bathroom was the size of a wardrobe
The hostel felt more like a prison it was dark and depressing.
A lot of effort was put into making the front entrance but that’s about as far as effort goes.
The tvs were also out of order and no one told me where to find the kitchen etc
There was no spa
I’d recommend sleeping on the side of the road on queen street over paying a cent for this hostel atleast queen street would probably be more hygienic
I left a day early as I couldn’t handle it any longer.
Room photos are deceiving. Window size is vividly smaller walls are tainted. Noise from the nearby pub is loud.
Windows are of no use as they are behind the wall.
