The Space:
Perched above Oneroa, Church Bay Views by Stay Waiheke is a freshly renovated coastal home designed for easy island living. The open-plan layout brings together a modern kitchen with new appliances, a comfortable lounge, and wide sliding doors that open the house to the deck making it the perfect spot to take in the sea views, enjoy the BBQ, or watch the sunset settle over the bay.
Upstairs, you’ll find two double bedrooms and a full bathroom, each space bright, simple, and designed for comfort. Downstairs, a third bedroom and second bathroom offer extra privacy and an easy retreat after a day at the beach. Every room feels connected to the light and the landscape outside.
The home is ideal for up to six guests, with a calm atmosphere that suits couples, friends, or families travelling together.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the home, outdoor areas, and on-site parking. Check in is from 2 pm and check out is at 10.30 am. Early check in or late check out may be available for a small fee, however these can only be confirmed closer to your arrival date once we know the bookings scheduled immediately before and after your stay.
The Neighborhood:
From Church Bay Views, everything that makes Waiheke special is close by. A short walk takes you down to Oneroa Beach, coffee in hand, salt on the air, and the morning already slowing to island time. The village is just minutes away, filled with cafés, galleries, and small shops that capture the easy rhythm of the island.
Start the day at Wai Kitchen for coffee and breakfast overlooking the bay, or make a dinner reservation at The Oyster Inn, owned by chef Josh Emett, a celebrated island destination known for its seasonal coastal menu and relaxed, refined atmosphere. Stop into the Island Grocer, a boutique deli and grocery store offering fresh produce, a cheese bar, and gourmet ingredients perfect for a picnic or a simple dinner at home.
Oneroa’s boutiques make for easy browsing too, The Tailor and His Lover carries luxury womenswear in natural fibres and artisan designs, while Body and Souls has everything you need for the beach, from swimwear to relaxed island essentials.
As the day winds down, stop by the Waiheke Wine Centre on Ocean View Road to pick up a bottle of local wine or craft spirits, then head back to the deck to watch the bay shift through shades of gold, he perfect end to an island day.
Getting Around:
Getting around from Church Bay Views is easy and relaxed. The Matiatia passenger ferry terminal is about a five-minute drive from the property, and regular bus routes (50A and 50B) connect the ferry to Oneroa Village, with a stop just a short walk from the house.
Once you’re here, most of what you’ll want is close by, cafés, shops, and the beach are all within walking distance. For exploring further, the bus runs regularly to the island’s vineyards and restaurants, including those in the Vineyard Valley area where you’ll find Stonyridge, Tantalus Estate, Te Motu, and Wild on Waiheke, perfect for long lunches and wine tastings.
You’ll also pass The Heke Beer, Spirits & Grill, Waiheke’s local brewery and distillery with a restaurant and relaxed outdoor seating. There’s a bus stop right outside The Heke, making it simple to hop on or off as you explore.
Taxis, e-bikes, and car hire are available on the island, and there’s off-street parking at the property for two vehicles. However you choose to get around, every journey here comes with sea views and that easy island pace that makes getting there part of the experience.
