Best Value out of Hotels I Stayed at in Peru
Very clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Good breakfast with made-to-order eggs, meat/cheese, juices, etc.. The location is only 5 minute walk to the Main Square, which was super convenient. Hotel is relatively small, with just a few rooms around a courtyard. Architecture was traditional style for the area and was the most unique of all the various hotels I stayed at in Peru. Some (not all) of the staff spoke reasonably good English which was helpful. Not an issue to me, but if you are in the room with a shared bathroom as I was (I believe it is only 2 rooms that share a single bathroom), just know that all the rooms do exist into an outdoor courtyard, so you will have to walk outside to get to the restroom. If its rainy season or a cold night, you may want to consider spending the extra $$ to get a private bathroom.

The only thing it really has going for it is the location. The room was ok but constantly hot. Bed ok, but only got two small pillows for two people. Asked for more but were not provided. Sink water flow was a trickle, shower was ok. Stuff was very nice! Breakfast marginal but eggs cooked on demand. Comparing to other two hotels we stayed in Peru it left us wishing for more but was also a bit cheaper. In the end, we had fun in Arequipa and the place had everything we needed, just not on the level we expected.

Manuel worked at the front desk and had exceptional customer service. Service overall with supporting staff was wonderful. We arrived early and had a later flight flight after checking out. They were accommodating in storing our luggage for us. Rooms were very clean, beautiful high ceilings. The free breakfast had a bit of a variety, slightly different each day, and had made to order eggs. Excellent location, walking distance to a lot of great touristy activities and restaurants.

The hotel is located in a traditional old house of the downtown neighborhood. It has been nicely refurbished .The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. Location was excellent. Just 10 min walk from the cathedral and Plaza de Armas
