PLEASE NOTE: We do not serve breakfast. The Rose Room is a romantic couples getaway located in South Asheville just minutes to downtown, and convenient to attractions like Sierra Nevada, Twelve Bones South and Jake Rusher Park. South Asheville is quickly becoming a "must see" destination in its own right, and we are right in the middle of it. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

When we first discovered that the historic Blake House was for sale, we thought that living here was just a dream. But our dream has come true and we are excited to be sharing it with guests.

Welcome to the Rose Room, located in the main house. It is absolutely delightful with its twelve foot ceilings, its cozy atmosphere and its private entry. It is the perfect couples getaway. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to make it perfect, and we really love the result. We think you will too.

We are close to the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, Pisgah National Forest and the Folk Art Center. We are convenient to the airport. The nearby towns of Hendersonville and Brevard are both about a 30 minute drive, making them great destinations for a day trip.

Our family lives in the main house, so please be aware that the front porch area is our family space and not accessible to guests. We invite you to enjoy the patio area and to walk around and enjoy the grounds.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days for our anniversary and had a great experience. Hosts were very friendly and it was in a great location in relation to everything we had planned. Room was cool, really enjoyed the style and furnishings. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming quiet stay

So much better than a hotel!

Historic Blake House is a beautiful, large, open guest room with easy entry. It's in the perfect location for quick access to the downtown area, Biltmore and many others.

A great place to stay that’s convenient to many attractions

Wife and I stayed here for about a week in early April. It’s a smallish place but don’t let that discourage you. The owners next door were very friendly and stayed out of our way the whole time. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay!

We were only there for two nights but we fell in love with the place and greatly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Brian and Stephanie were fantastic hosts, very responsive and even helped us find gluten free restaurants! We will be back!

Quick getaway

Our son came up for a lacrosse camp and we stayed for a few days. We loved the location and felt like we were a quick 15-20 mins from everything. Will def be back!

Our stay in the Rose Room

Before we entered the Rose Room, we noticed the beautiful hostas, the pergola, and the patio. Then we went inside, and we discovered a beautifully decorated room that was cozy and comfortable! The furnishings were lovely. My favorite thing was the 4 big prints of the birds. The fireplace, the mirrors, the chairs all added to the charm. We slept great in the bed too! The bathroom was huge. The Rose Room has so much good energy in it. We really enjoyed our stay! Marianne and Hugh

Sweet Get Away

After reading the reviews, my final decision for selecting my stay location was based on my daughter, who I was traveling with, is named Blake. I could not have been happier with the charming room in this beautiful historic home for our stay. It was impeccably clean and I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the areas available to us. It was the perfect jumping off point to spend time downtown and to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway and all the sights. If we had been interested in visiting Biltmore again, it would have been perfect for that as well. Thank you for the opportunity!

Great Place - Needed Working TV and Tub issue

the bathroom tub was very slippery. I had to hold onto the rails on the wall. The TV was not working and the bed was very hard.

Blake House

Very nice space. I have a few suggestions for the manager, however: There should be a coffee packet for every day. We stayed three, but got coffee for only two; there should be instructions for how to lock the room lock; the features should be listed and explained, eg. the bed was too hard, but we did not know that it was an adjustable bed until checking out. Just need some words.

Fun room for three nights

The Rose Room is a quaint room part of an old sandstone house. The room has a very high ceiling, a gas fireplace with two easy chairs to sit by. The vintage art on the walls gives it a country inn vibe. There is no kitchen but it has a small refrigerator, microwave and most importantly a coffee pot with good coffee supplied. The bathroom is large and has a big tub (kind of hard to step in) with a nice shower. Centered between easily accessible highways makes it a short ride to Asheville and sightseeing. Friendly family in the main house are happy to help.
