Just the right space for 4 adults and two teens and great proximity to the resort as well as grocery store. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing post ski. Deer were everywhere! Very friendly and not afraid of people. We enjoyed playing some of the games at the house and appreciated the outdoor fire feature on the patio. Love that big porch!.
The owner was very responsive and was helpful. The location is great and it’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife. The reason for two stars is the cleanliness of the house. Balls of dog and human hair, dirt debris and bits of plastic and other misc items were all over the floor. I tossed a ball for my dog and it came back completely covered in human and dog hair. My dog started to pick up all the misc debris on the floor and it got to the point where I was afraid for my dog’s health. I went to the store and got some disinfectant wipes and got on my hands and knees and wiped the entire living room and kitchen. It took me 2.5 hours. I also wiped clean the food and dirty fingerprints on the fridge door handle. The hallway was rough slate so I couldn’t wipe it and the bedroom was carpet. The carpet had balls of dog and human hair just sitting on the surface. Some walls had streaks of something that had spilled from previous renters. I did contact the owners and they sent out the cleaning lady to vacuum for us. She quickly vacuumed and told me the house wasn’t cleaned when the new owners purchased it. This is the cleaning lady telling me this. The last straw was when I found feces smeared on the side of the toilet set. We left a day early after that.
We had hoped to use the hot tub, but the water was murky and there was a ton of hair stuck in the drain in the bottom. It needs a good cleaning.
This house has tons of potential. I hope the owners will be able to find a more responsible cleaning person.
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and watching the wildlife stroll through the yard daily. Would definitely love to visit again ... but next time stay longer.
We had a wonderful time. We sat out on the deck watching the deer and listening to the birds during the day and celebrated a birthday around the table. We each got our own bed!
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had plenty of room for our family. It has a wraparound porch which is nice to sit on and take in the beauty all around. The neighborhood is super peaceful! We had a lovely weekend.
