Wonderful, peaceful setting near Nazare
The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days. The rooms are quaint with all the special extras, and the reception from Anabelle and Jean=Pierre was wonderful! We had a great breakfast with pastry and charcouterie, etc. Couldn't ask for more!

We were greeted as family and in fact thought some of the other guests were family. They did not speak english and we did not speak any of the languages they spoke but with google translate and some of the other guests we had no problem. Even after the other guests left. They even invited us to join them for the evening meal and it was one of the best we had off of an open barbeque.

Tricky to find but worth it.
The GPS coordinates given on HomeAway site are incorrect, and it took us a bit of time to make contact. The owners had to come to a local cafe and guide us back. But, in spite of our pathetic rudimentary Portuguese and a smattering of Française, all went pretty well. The hosts were very kind and solicitous about our recent experience with the terrible forest fires near Figueiró dos Vinhos and chatted with us, fed us royally and made us very comfortable. I loved the whispering of the giant reeds at night - it sounded like rain, which we crave. All was good, except perhaps the bed pillows, which were those bouncy rubber things and hot at night. Bring your own!

Une excellent semaine de vacances chez 2 personnes hyper sympathiques et disponibles
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Anabela & Jean Pierre où tout est rassemblé pour passer de superbes vacances : propreté des lieux, grandeur de la chambre, accès à la cuisine d'été partagée et équipée, piscine, ... Des petit déjeuner très variés, copieux et composés de produits faits maison (confitures, gâteaux de Jean Pierre et oeuf sur le plat ou omelette d'Anabela) ont accompagnés notre séjour au quotidien. Anabela et Jean Pierre sont toujours à l'écoute et proposent d'excellents conseils sur les différents lieux à visiter. En conclusion, merci à vous 2, pour les superbes moments que nous avons partagés dans votre maison. Ne changez rien, tout est top !!

Super, génial, dépaysant, calme.
Mon mari et moi même avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez Anabella et Jean-Pierre. Tout était là, bonne humeur, couchage impeccable, propreté et tout est bien pensé pour le confort des locataires. Merci aussi pour ce bon repas de la semaine qui nous à ravi. La piscine est bien-sûr très agréable quand on sort des chambres. la cuisine d été à disposition c est vraiment bien. Le petit déjeuner copieux au bord de la piscine ou dans la salle commune suivant le temp, c est vraiment appréciable. Si nous le pouvons nous y reviendrons seul ou en famille. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse à tout ceux qui veulent passé un séjour à Nazaré. Merci à vous.

Klein paradijsje vol warmte en hartelijkheid
Een warme, hartelijke ontvangst op een mooi verzorgd en uitgebreid, verborgen, plekje in een rustige, landelijke omgeving.Het spoorlijntje dat er direct langsloopt geeft absoluut geen overlast! Fijne, lichte ruime kamer, goed bed en heerlijk schoon. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt (o.a. homemade jam, taart, verse eitjes) vooraf wordt gevraagd '' wat lust je graag'! Het is heerlijk toeven onder de ruime overkapping met bankstel, fauteuil en tafeltjes met stoelen. De aangrenzende keurige buitenkeuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en kan naar believen gebruikt worden. Verder is er een heerlijk ruim goed onderhouden zwembad met ligstoelen en een grote (woon)kamer voor gasten indien het te koud is om buiten te zitten. Hier ook weer alle comfort.! Gastheer en gastvrouw zijn geweldig! Doen alles om het naar je zin te maken, zelfs fietsen werden beschikbaar gesteld! De gesproken taal hier is Frans of Portugees. Deze fijne quinta ligt heerlijk rustig en toch gunstig voor bezoek aan nabijgelegen kust (Nazaré) met zn prachtige strand en gemoedelijke stadje en dorpjes.Een verblijf hier is zeker aan te bevelen. Hele fijne herinneringen aan ons 4daags verblijf! Nogmaals een grote Merci/Obrigado aan Anabelle en Jean Pierre
