Older hotel that offers a clean room, a comfortable bed, soft bright towels and good shower pressure. Owner/Manager is friendly and accommodating.

This is an older no frills motel. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled good. It was all we needed for an overnight stay.

Best Inn in area

The customer service was excellent. There was a mix up in the reservation...not their fault and they were extremely accomodating. The Royal Inn is dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. If you don't smoke, don't take the smoking rooms. Amenities are minimal...no ice maker, breakfast or in room coffee. Bed and linens were comfortable. Good WIFI. Good value.

In 1965, i remember the Conner Motel building. I was drawn to the large trees in front of the rooms. I have walked the sidewalk in front of this hotel/motel since i was a child. Recently had reason to stay in Albany overnight, and for nostalgic reasons, stayed at the renamed; Royal inn....same building, no trees. A bit outdated, but eh. You gotta sleep somewhere. 😏

Nothing unique about it. Old outdated musty smelling 2 queen beds crammed into what was a one bedroom at one time. Small walking area between bed and bathroom. Air and fridge had to be plugged in or turned on Cant say i woyld stay there again but considering where and why godd enough for short night

Very cozy place to stay. The bed and pillows are way better than most hotels. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The television didnt work properly. There was black hair in the shower drain obviously the cleaner did not do a through job cleaning. The bed was very comfortable and the room very satisfactory. We would consider staying there again.

Clean & comfortable

This is a non-assuming hotel w/o all of the bells & whistles but…. It was clean & comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly & helped us correct an error made in our reservation. He even escorted us to our room to ensure we were completely satisfied. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
