I stayed here for one night while waiting for a flight and loved it. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Restaurant was a little expensive but the room was a good deal so overall still a great experience.
The Dorint Airport Hotel in Amsterdam is exemplary. From the shuttle bus available on our arrival in Amsterdam to checkout the staff were friendly, efficient and professional. Our hotel room was in "new" condition. Clean and extremely comfortable.
We enjoyed a buffet dinner on arrival and breakfast before our departure. The meals were delicious with many options for any dietary restrictions.
I booked this hotel when I already arrived to Amsterdam Airport and within half an hour I was in my room taking a shower and resting for the next flight. Facility is new and looks very modern I really liked the design. Burger King, KFC and casino right across the street. Food is good and service is tariffic.
"Good hotel but make sure if u eat u sign it off! "
Booked this hotel last min as had an early flight (7am) which meant getting up at 4.30 to be ready for the 5.15am shuttle bus to the airport. I called the number advised in the room and booked a table and asked whether we had to pay cash or if it could go on the room. He said it will be charged on the room as we had supplied our credit card details. So We had dinner, which was nice, we were asked if we wanted dessert but explained we didn't and the waitress cleared our plates and we waited around 10 mins before leaving as all the waitresses disappeared. We just wanted to go to bed as we had had a busy weekend at the BSB in Assen and just wanted to get our head down for a few hours so we got up and walked out, walking passed the barman and a waitress that hadn't served us so I thought as we had booked the table, giving our room number that they would just charge the food to our room, to be paid on check out. We went to bed at 9pm and straight to sleep to be RUDELY awoken by a telephone call from a stroppy receptionist at 10.30pm explaining I needed to go down and sign for the food. I albeit a bit dazed having been asleep explained I was told it would be added to my room to which she told me It would but I had to sign for it. My husband got up and signed for it and then I couldn't get back to sleep for a good couple of hours as it had completely startled me, I thought when I woke up that it was the fire alarm, then the way in which i was spoken to! Terrible.
Amsterdam’s international airport, Schiphol is 14 kilometres south-west of the city centre. It’s a modern efficient gateway, well signposted, boasting good shops and the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol, which houses a small number of works from the Rijksmuseum. Within the terminal a train station provides a fast frequent service to the city centre and outlying areas. Taxis and airport-to-hotel shuttle services are also available.
