"Great all round, could do with some updating"
This hotel and the AI offer provided plenty of alternatives: pools, restaurants, food, activities and lots of space. The hotel could do with some refurbishment to transfer the customer expectations of a 4-star in line with others we have been to.

"great hotel+ staff, late evening noise let it down"
The hotel is lovely, the staff great and the room very well designed and relaxing. Kleo and Katerina looked after us very well in the restaurant each morning + evening. The food in the buffet restaurant was nice, by the end of our 10 days we felt we had tried everything they had to offer. However if you're there for a very peaceful, relaxing time without partying in the evening, make sure you don't have a room near to the main bar. Most nights was karaoke, which we would never purposefully put ourselves in the vicinity of on any occasion, least of all on a relaxing holiday. After the first night, i spoke with reception, who said entertainment went on until 12.30am usually. We negotiated that the volume was turned down after 11pm as it drowned out the television, which was set to a maximum level that can't disturb anyone This seemed odd as the bar music was so loud. We got the bus to Kos Town after 3 days of karaoke to buys earplugs!!! It wasn't made clear that you had to pay for the Italian and Greek restaurants, just that you had to book in advance to eat there. The Greek was good food but we felt, overpriced for what we got. The Italian was very poor quality, we ordered what we thought was a vegetarian main course from the menu description, which had bacon in. We did have a lovely holiday, the music did put a dampener on each evening as we had to call each time to ask for the volume reduction.

"Beautiful hotel in a great location"
What really defines this hotel is the excellent calibre of staff. Whether bar staff, reception, restaurant or housekeeping all were unfailingly courteous, charming and helpful, with great sense of humour too! The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well presented, food in all restaurants is great, though the buffet format does get a bit repetitive, entertainment is geared towards the mainly German clientele, only negative for me was the amount of smokers. With regard to the rooms, I would think a refurb is required as the decor and furniture is rather tired and on the verge of shabby - really didn't bother us too much as the pools and outdoor space was fantastic and the beach just fabulous. We would certainly return without hesitation.

"A week at the Kipriotis Hippocrates in Kos"
This is a very nice hotel, particularly pleasant out of season, as it was quite quiet and there were plenty of facilities available. The hotel is very clean and the reception staff are charming. The meals are buffet style and for meat eaters, there is a good choice of food. Apart from the salads and cheese, the hotel did not really cater for vegetarians and the spaghetti and tomato sauce was uninspiring. There was virtually no information about what to do on the island, but reception did tell us that we could get a local bus into town. Kos itself is a lovely island and relatively easy to get around, but you need to stay here a Psalidi or Kos Town to get the local buses. The boat trips are great, but tended to finish the middle of October. There is enough to do for a week, whether it be walking, staying on the beach, sightseeing or taking the boat tours. Sadly Kos Town museum is closed, as is the Casa Romana.

"Nice Break From Husstle and Bussle"
Awesome pool, accommodating and friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, great hotel facilities, wifi good in reception area and pool area but not so good in room, accommodating with early and late checkins where possible, only negative is that it was a 30 minute walk from the port, highly recommend full day quad bike hire taking in the beaches and the views from Zia are to die for and hiring a push bike is great fun too
