I will be staying here for the next four years when I come visit my daughter at ASU. It is very conveniently located to ASU and many restaurants. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to pick me up when I got lost.
However, I would suggest the housekeeping have a form of guest room check out. I had housekeeping knocking at my door at 8:00am in the morning. This was the only day I was actually able to sleep in. With check out being at 12pm there was no reason for her to come knocking so early in the morning. She knocked so loudly on the doors I was able to hear it several doors down. The guests seem to be in my shoes shoes as I could hear the two rooms next to me stumbling to their feet as not to have her come in.
Other than that incident I give it 5 out of 5.
Building is nice, staff generally cordial, rooms missing refrigerator/microwave for long time guests. AC is noisy and lack temp controller. Did not revive housekeeping for two days and no coffee etc for one day.
Management has to review above concerns. Price was OK.

Beautiful, clean hotel with all of the amenities of a 5-star...fabulous free breakfast (waffles!), charging station in the nightstand, generous toiletries (Neutrogena soaps, etc.), and comfortable beds/bedding. Plus, smiling staff and cookies in the lobby! Would definitely stay here again if in the area!!

The hotel is close to Highway 60 so very convenient. Lots of restaurants around, within 15 min drive. Staffs are friendly and the breakfast was great. They don't have mini fridges in the rooms, so can't cool off your own water bottles.
"Nice Location Close to AZ Mills Mall & ASU campus"
I loved the hotel being close to many places in Scottsdale and Tempe. One of the days I was gone, I had left the do not disturb sign on my door. When I came back that night, I found a letter on my door from the cleaning staff. who respected my wishes, but wanted to make sure I had enough clean towels and anything else I needed and to see the front office. This was the first time I have ever had this happen at any hotel. This in my opinion, exceeded customer expectations and I will come back to this hotel. My only negative concern at first was, in the parking lot on one side of the building is a large air conditioning unitl that supplies the building rooms, which was somewhat loud when you were outside. However, with myself being a light sleeper anyway, it did not bother me at all during the night. I did not run the air conditioner at night and still could not hear the large until outside, which sits away from the building. As I said before, I love the staff, the location, the food!! The do have elevators as well. The décor on both levels was very nice!
From brick-and-mortar Victorian to futuristic glass and steel, the Arizona State University campus runs the gamut of American architecture. One of its jewels is the Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Nearby, Tempe Town Lake is popular for picnics, fishing, and boating. The Tempe Center for the Arts hosts the Tempe Symphony Orchestra, plays, and dance troupes.
