The hotel owners were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was a good size with warm lighting to create a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom was good size with a generous shower, although you do need to be careful as there's no shower curtain/door, so the floor can become quite wet. (I did however enjoy the design of the bathroom)
At times the hotel was rather noisy. Noises from outside and from other guests opening and closing doors.
The bath and shower had no door. The bed was about 3 2 - 34 inches wide. The shower had no ledge and water went to a hole in the floor. There were no windows except an a blacked out 7 x 20pane of glass. The
floor was cold and brick
This lovely hotel is situated right by the river in the Petit France section of old town Strasbourg.
Finding the hotel can be a bit tricky as it has a small sign and is situated at the end of a pathway. Best way from the train station is to walk straight out the main exit, along the main street, across the river and hang the second right - go all the way to the end and you see the hotel in front of you - total wallking time - 10 minutes.
The hotel has a very popular restaurant so be sure to reserve a table.
Stayed in one of the beautiful loft rooms which had ample space and a very spacious washroom/shower.
