A1 experience from check in to check out. Great location close to 'must see' sites, museums and panoramas of the magnificent old imperial capital of Russia. The building is a well preserved and meticulously restored 18th century palace. It's worthwhile to spend several hours exploring and admiring the interiors. The hotel's atmosphere calls for 'slowing down', look around and enjoy staying in cozy luxury.

Perfect hotel for a stay in charming St Petersburg. Just around the corner from The Hermitage and the Isaac Cathedral. A 20 minute jaunt to the Walking Street with all the shops. Boat cruise on the canals just steps away. Great nearby restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Very helpful staff. Ultra clean and well equipped. Our stay here certainly eliminated any misconceptions about visiting Russia!

Perfect hotel room, good service, pleasant staff. The hotel is not exactly central, but it's five minutes from a subway station that is only one or at most two stops from all the main tourist attractions. And there's an advantage to being in a relative quiet location across the street from a large park.
The only negative is that the hotel provides no à la carte breakfast options. A $25 breakfast buffet, no matter how elegant, is not what you want when your idea of breakfast is a cup of coffee and a roll. But there is a restaurant up the street where you can get a cup of coffee and a croissant.

"Very pleased & would recommend this lovely Hotel"
Wonderful hotel with lovely original features, spotlessly clean & very well cared for. I am very fussy about cleanliness and the condition of any hotel we stay in & the room was as if it had been recently been refurbished so it was great for us, it was decorated and furnished to a high standard.
Great breakfast, lots of choice, good fresh food, a great way to start the day.
Very friendly & helpful staff all through the hotel.
We were very impressed with the size of the room and the fact it was so warm & so very comfortable.
We have no hesitation in recommending it. We did a lot of walking but there are bus routes if you perfer not to, it was lovely to be right beside the river so it was a nice place to walk to and from.

Everything went well in a lovely Hotel by St Isaccs Cathederal. Staff were friendly and most spoke excellent English. Concierge was very good about travel and other information regarding St Petersburg.
Bar could be a bit Cheaper as most drinking was done at other watering holes. It is very expensive.
Have a meal in the Restaurant but check all items are available. If eating around St Petersburg be aware that only half the menu will be available, or items are on the Menu(to lure you in) but have never been sold there...very frustrating. Great City though and this Hotel is the Perfect Base
