Adrian was a fantastic and friendly host. The room was spacious, extrememly clean, quiet, and had a wee selection of coffees and teas as well as treats. I'll be booking here for my next trip to Aviemore.

The accommodation is good and the ability to park right outside was great. I arrived on what was a cold day and found the room was much colder than I anticipated. Heaters were provided but could possibly be put on earlier than they were to take the chill off the air.

Amazing place ,our favourite place in Scotland so we have been very lucky with our accomodation.Perfect for families.Of course we can't forget dogs too which is a bonus .Very hard for a pet friendly accommodation.Adrian an amazing host ,his cooking skills top class.

Wonderful Stay
Adrian is a superstar as a host and we very much enjoyed our stay at Carn Mhor. Our room was spacious and comfy and nice to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfasts are delicious and the variety of choices is perfect. Adrian is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend a stay here and would book again in a minute if we were to return to the area.

The B&B was perfect for our 2 night stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed in it. Adrian was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect
A lovely location and a wonderful host. From the minute we walked up, Adrian made us feel welcome. The property is well managed and very clean. It's just on the outskirts of all the facilities, it is very quiet and relaxing. Deer frequented the adjoining field. The breakfast options were excellent. Adrian made us a pack up lunch for our journey home due to our early train. We walked into the town and back with ease.

Great, friendly B&B
We were made to feel very welcome. We had to self check in which was easy as we had been texted very clear instructions. The room was a good size, very clean and had plenty of drawers and hanging space. The bed was very comfy. There was a note explaining about changes to housekeeping due to covid, which made us feel safe staying here. We were kept well supplied with coffee, tea bags and milk for the room. The breakfast menu had plenty of choices. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really tasty. We were made to feel very welcome by Adrian. There was a lovely outside area to sit in. Loved our stay here, well worth the money.

Great place in Aviemore.
We completely enjoyed our stay! My son and I were traveling before he goes to University. This was a good home base for al of our activities. Adrian suggested some great hikes and makes a great breakfast. I have a gluten allergy and he dealt with my food issues wonderfully. We would definitely stay again.

Me and my girlfriend were up in Scotland for the Edinburgh festival and to visit Family. We decided to visit Aviemore as my partner had never been to the highlands and I wanted to relive some childhood memories. Carn Mhor has everything you need to have a nice quiet stay in the highlands, the service was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and we had a lovely stay. I would recommend Carn Mhor Bed and Breakfast if you’re visiting the fringe festival and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh for a few days.

Nice big room on second floor but the private bathroom is downstairs next to neighbors bathroom. This was inconvenient for us at nighttime. Friendly hosts and good breakfast!

Spotless rooms with a very warm welcome
Very warm welcome and much care taken in providing for individual needs. Excellent choice for breakfast with everything cooked to order. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and sheets and towels regularly changed. We had the one room with a separate private bathroom rather than en suite which was the only thing we found caused us to give 4 rather than 5 stars. Would certainly stay there again and would thoroughly recommend Carn Mhor without hesitation.

Used Aviemore as a base while exploring the Highlands on our motorcycle holiday. Stayed for 4 nights. Room a nice size, clean and modern. Adrian, as mentioned in a lot of reviews I looked at, couldn't have been more helpful. Very welcoming, asking about your plans and providing personal experience and/or guide books, maps etc to help with your visit. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The B & B is at one end of the village and the pubs at the other. Took us about 17 mins to walk each way. I wasn't keen on the pebble drive, ok for cars but not ideal for motorcycles. Did notice one or two paving slabs dotted about which I presume were to assist with bike parking. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would stay here in the future and would recommend to others.

The B&B is great, very comfortable and also very clean, the owner Adrian was very helpful and friendly he will go out of his way to help and provide any bits of information needed. The only down size was that all the ski resort were closed and we didn’t get to hit the slopes. I would definately stay there again.

The best place to stay in Aviemore!
I spent 6 nights at Carn Mhor B&B in February 2018 - and I could not have asked for a better place to stay! Adrian is a wonderful host, very engaging and generous; the B&B itself is simple, clean, efficient, and warm; my room was charming, with a beautiful view of the Cairngorms; breakfast each morning was delicious and sufficient. The location is perfect too - a bit outside the town, which makes it quieter and very peaceful. I would not stay in another place in Aviemore, and plan on coming back the same time next year! A big thanks for everything, Adrian!

Friendly staff and fabulous room
I stopped there for 1 night before went to the Cairngorms Mountain. The staff was very nice and friendly and the room was very clean than I expected. A staff offered a lift to the best restaurant in town, and he also advised lots of informaition about the Cairngorms Mountain. It was very sweet of him. One thing that I like the most was breakfast. It was such a wonderful breakfast, fresh food and tasty.
