Very comfortable beds but very small bathroom. Ok for one night stay but would not like to stay longer. Amazing views.

Excellent very comfortable B&B
Great B&B. Nice room and the owners are lovely and friendly. There’s plenty parking and great views of the loch. You have to order breakfast day prior which we weren’t too keen on as we’d prefer to choose on the morning and it would be nice to have a bit more variety to the breakfast menu with some more options such as poached eggs, haggis etc and maybe some pastries. Other than that everything was excellent and we would definitely stay again.

Brilliant, a lovely wee place.
Absolutely spot on. Stayed here after the west highland way race, didn't actually arrive until 05:30am and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Allowed our support crew to check us in and had everything sorted for breakfast etc. Comfy beds and overall a lovely wee place. Thanks

Only stayed over night so didn't t get to experience much. It's not in town but about a 10 minute drive away. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly.

It offers a decent room with private bathroom. It has very comfortable beds, one of the better ones throughout my trip in UK. I personally find the room slightly small for 3 people, but it was still manageable. Located beside a lake, offers a very good view. Breakfast offered was decent as well.

Room okay, shower a problem, either boiling or cold, other travellers said the same, could be scalded! No heating although we were assured this was being sorted. Breakfast fine. 10 min drive to Fort William and restaurants. Adjacent to Locke with free parking. Okay for a couple of days.

Nice B&B Outside The Town
Nice little B&B that does a great breakfast, right beside the loch. Friendly owners and a comfortable room. Only downside is if you don't have a car you need to use taxis to get to/from there, which adds to the cost.

Beware..no wifi
The wifi was as if it were fake. All guests talked about it at breakfast as no one got on. The owner said it was slow but it truly was as if a fake one.

Lovely guesthouse, welcoming hosts. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. house on the shores of the loch giving great views. Out of town from Fort William, needs a car to get to but well placed between Glencoe and Fort William

B&B in the country
This place is at a very beautiful location, close to the highway but still with a fabulous view of the lake and the mountains beyond. If a view is your thing, it would be worth staying for that alone! The hosts were polite and helpful, the breakfast delicious. The trailer we stayed in was a little musty smelling, though it was fairly comfortable and we did enjoy the space and privacy after staying art several other b&b's.

Disappointing start but good outcome.
We arrived at 2pm to be told that we could not check in before 4pm which was fine but when we returned at 4.30pm the owner told us he had iverbooked and had arranged for us to stay at Glenshiels which was closer to town. Glenshiels was very well run, clean, new, good size room, great breakfast and a very caring owner.

Upon arrival we were asked to choose what we wanted for breakfast... including fruit juice and a choice of 7 breakfast items that we could choose 5 from. We were offered either 7 or 9 to eat breakfast. the room was ok with ensuite shower that had been built as an addition to the room.

On arrival we were told that they had double booked our room but had an alternative which was a caravan. This proved to be spacious, clean and well equipped. The view over the Loch was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The location must be one of the best in Scotland, the view looking across Loch Linhe is amazing, the owner told me that his grandfather built the house in 1929, he must have been a visionary.

In Fort William, there is quite a selection of B&B style places to stay all along the main road into town. The Campfield House B&B stood out because it is just before the other slew of accommodations and is on the same side as the loch, so the scenery is a lot nicer. However, since we were there in the autumn, we didn't get to enjoy the backyard or patio on the water. The owner of the B&B (didn't get his name) was helpful to get us to the location as we had passed it and had to backtrack. Although when we arrived, he showed us our room and immediately started taking our breakfast orders as we were trying to get settled in. As soon as he knew what we were eating the next day, he disappeared behind a closed door. We had to knock to ask for a new mug, knock again to ask how to get back into the building as essentially nothing was explained to us. Room was comfortable, but nothing special. Breakfast the next morning was alright and tasty. Coffee was awful. Way too strong and syrupy. Had to knock again on the closed door to ask for more napkins and our host disappeared and didn't come back to check on us. The whole experience felt like us being strangers imposing on someone's family home instead of a hospitality business being run. So verdict is, stay here or anywhere else as there was nothing gravitational about this place to make me want to come back.

They gave away my room!
When I arrived at this place they told me they had "overbooked": and even though I had already paid in full, they didn't have a room for me. The owner had made arrangements for me to stay at another B&B and drove me there, but the room there was very small and I didn't think very highly of this man for giving my room to someone else when I had already paid for it.

We stayed in 20 hotels and b&b in the UK over the last month, and i can honeslty say this was the most unwelcoming place we stayed, we regreat staying there wasting our money. They give scotland a bad name for hostipatly, from the being asked what 5 out of 7 items do you want for breakfast before you even get chance to but your bag down, locked doors and small bedrooms... really place dont stay here.

No warm welcome. No heated towel rail to dry towel so towel still too damp in morning after using it previous evening. Heat turned off in bedroom . Although not cold in bed, heat would have helped to dry wet clothes. Breakfast ok but limited choice of cereal and no extras offered .I could certainly have eaten more before walking up Ben Nevis .

Really beautiful views from this guest house. The room we had was a little dusty. Breakfast was pretty good. The woman proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Management seemed a little confused about my booking through hotels.com.

If your looking for a nice welcome well you've come to the wrong place, booked it for a night and thank The Lord it was just one night as for the second night stay just done good old fashion foot work and got something else in the same area at a better rate with better facilities. There is wifi in this guest house just don't expect to be allowed to use iit and don't ask to much about local area and amenities you would get more info of the cat that kicks about the place and was clearly not put in guest house info on web site.

The place is very good. It is a little far from Fort Williams (10 min in car), however if you have a car this is not a problem. It is by the water, so it has a very nice view. The rooms are comfortable, neat and clean. The house it self feels a little crowed and small as you come in. This is not a very fancy place but If I have more days I will have definitely stayed there. Breakfast was good.

Stayed overnight on leisure trip with husband- greeted by donny- very friendly and helpful. Views from bedroom picturesque- with the ever changing loch- lovely! Breakfast was appetising and tasteful with lots of laughs. Thank you for your hospitality

As a B&B Campfield offers a most pleasant, friendly and comfortable stay. Our twin room may have appeared small to some, but it was by no means cramped. The en-suite certainly had a small corner washhand basin ( perfectly adequate for hands & face) but the shower was full sized and easily controlled for temperature and flow. The wall mounted TV worked well with all stations available and clear picture (most places the TV does not work easily or you get only a few channels). Beds were the best we have had anywhere. The breakfast menu offered a good choice and was of a high quality in presentation and cooking. Breakfast & breakfast time is usually arranged the night before ( 3 choices of timings) to allow you to have your breakfast promptly and without delay which is very useful to many travellers. Margaret & Danny were wonderful hosts and we felt most welcome.

Quiet water front.
Nice owner. Provided discount meal coupons for dinner in town. Town is 3 miles away. No issues here. There is an older mobile home that blocks the spectacular view.
