"We had an exceptional stay at Residenza d’Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi. Set within a beautifully preserved 12th-century palace, the hotel is full of history, charm and authentic Tuscan character. From the moment you step inside, you feel immersed in the atmosphere of medieval San Gimignano. Our room overlooked the beautiful cobbled streets of the old town, and waking up to those breathtaking views each morning was unforgettable. The location is perfect for exploring everything on foot while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautifully presented in a charming historic dining room and offered a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, local cheeses and cured meats, homemade cakes and pastries, eggs, bruschetta, cereals and excellent Italian coffee. Everything was fresh, high quality and prepared with care. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their recommendations for local restaurants were excellent, and every place they suggested turned out to be fantastic. If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan experience in a historic building with wonderful hospitality, delicious breakfast and an unbeatable location, this is the perfect place to stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Wonderful stay. The staff were all very helpful and Maria gave us a lovely tour of the wine estate where she explained the history of the building and we ended tasting the wines. The pool has magnificent views of the Tuscan countryside and was extremely clean. The single track leading to the property is unmade and steep so I wouldn't recommend a very small car, but definitely worth the journey."

"Great hotel and fantastic staff. Couldn't be better located in the middle of the main Piazza, but still very quiet in that respect - I had very noisy neighbours (whose kids played well into the night), but that's not the hotel's fault. My room had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Every staff member I met couldn't have been kinder."
