The nearest swimming beach, a 600-m (656-yd) strand, begins 200 meters (219 yds) east of the hotel in front of a large public park. It is popular with sunbathers, boogie boarders, and body surfers. Boogie boards can be rented in the Condado neighborhood. On the Condado Lagoon across the street, a water-sports center rents pedal boats, kayaks, and windsurfers for use in the calm waters of the Lagoon.
