Staff was helpful but upon check in the room was filthy all types of hair in the restroom sinks were all gross aswell the smell of the room eas revolting. My son had a severe allergic reaction to the room face puffed up and hives he is still trying to recover. Staff did move rooms but quality wasn't much better yet a bit cleaner than the last. I would suggest they remove all carpets from the rooms. Not very sanitary.

I wtote it for the wrong hotel.... not motel 6.. but here( im leaving this morning) i had $100 cash taken from my siut case. I had a no cleaning sign on the door so no one should have entered... i was out for the day, when i got back i could tell someone went through my suit case ...when i checked my$ was gone. I guess i shouldn't have left my$ in my suit case where i thought it was safe..... so i did not save any $ booking with you for this motel.

Our apologies. Either the dates are incorrect in the review or there is some confusion about where this incident took place. Our records indicate a one night stay with a check-out date of March 1. Canon City Super 8 company policy dictates that any employee entering a room with a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, excepting emergencies, will be immediately terminated. Guest privacy is a definite priority and we welcome all honest feedback to ensure our guests have a pleasant experience with us.
This is an older facility but in good condition. Room was clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. Right across the street from an excellent diner. Highly recommend their caramel pecan pie! One block from a large grocery store. Staff were friendly and available. Parking lot was well lit. Area felt safe and quiet.
Staff very un cooperative, told ys we booked handicap room which had a 4 feet bed . I requested the receptionist that this is not for 2 people , he said pay $11 extra if you want a big queen bed , the next room. The hotel only had four rooms filled and plenty of empty rooms , yet he refused. Earlier a day ago i stayed at quality inn abd fairfield they even changed the floors for us. This receptionist guy and a lady receptionist with a small baby in the carry cot did not even care for a bad review , as when i told him he said dont say that. I think the owners should take some action .
I travel with my husband and my little baby dog. I was giving a room that was for pets only and I can see why. It was messy and the sitting area was cover with pet hair and around the headboard of bed had some pet hair. the sink and tub wasn't clean and the tolit leaked from around the bottom seal. I always travel with my own clearning supply and disposable sheets. The manager staff was very friendly and nice and I didn't make much of a fuss about the pet hair I just ask the lady in housekeeping for her vacuum and clean it myself.
For a last minute, one night stay, the hotel was just fine. Service was excellent! Polite and welcoming. Room was as expected. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad to warrant not staying. The condition of the hotel, both outside and in the front lobby are dated and need some renovations, but otherwise, it served its purpose for a quick stay in rural Colorado.
Plan on at least 1-2 hours to just check in to get your room key and that's if you're the first in line after ringing the bell to let them know you're at the front desk - you'll have to do that at least times if you're lucky. Be sure you get everything done at check in otherwise they'll start calling your cellphone after 9pm at night. And get out before 9am, otherwise they just walk in to clean the room with you still packing. Yeah, never again.

The place looks a lot better in the pictures online. Everything was old and grimy. Our bed was uncomfortable and I didn’t trust the carpet in our room enough to walk around without shoes.

SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERANCE, WE ARE WORKING FOR THAT.
There was an extended power outage in canon city that day and it was 105 degrees out. We were informed we would not be billed for our room and went to pueblo and stayed in a nice room with a/c.
We actually were billed and when we disputed the charge they lied and and said there was no problem. 2 rooms, more than $200 later I would recommend no one books a stay with foreign hotel ownership. THEY LIE!!!

We didn’t even charge who are not staying that days power out age canon city. Contact who you booked through may be they didn’t.
When I enter the room the tv was on and it smell really bad, the refrigerator had food on it and the microwave was so dirty and smelled so bad.the bathroom was dirty and the shower too. The worst hotel I had stayed in
