Great location. Great value. We went to Sydney for a festival and decided to stay in a hostel to keep costs down, worked out really well. If we had stayed a little longer we would have got involved in the daily backpackers activities but had too much planned so didn't mingle with the other backpackers as much as we would have liked.

the hotel is in Potts Points a nice part of Sydney nice coffee shops , King cross is just around the corner from hotel right near the bar clubs I also walk to oxford street the gay part of Sydney the a railway station in King Cross also a bus services in to the C.B.D.

I have been shopping at SYDNEY and METROPOLITAN AREA while I was staying the hotel.

the staff at Lido Suites were amazing! So helpful, so friendly and so welcoming. Hotel is situated in the heart of kings cross easy for everything. Room was nice size, bed was super comfy! tv, dvd, kettle, fridge in room all new and working. really friendly atmosphere we were so impressed by how kind and helpful everyone was massive thanks to them!

We arrived late and on foot. I had rung earlier to say we were going to be late and the night watchman, Murray, was expecting us. All was ready and he gave us our key and directions (down the passage, turn left, then right) and said he'd left the light on in our room so we could find it. The hotel was in the middle of renovations so a little disorganised-looking and it is an old building so things were a little shabby but the room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed, all fitted into a teeny, tiny space. The fittings were old and slightly quirky but everything worked. After a chaotic journey with cancelled flights and mis-directions, it was heaven to have a hot, hot shower and collapse between smooth, clean sheets. I would stay there again. Thanks.

Having stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend I felt that this hotel was a great price for a short trip, on short notice. The room is 5 Star; the hotel staff are more friendly here than at any Hilton or Crown Plaza I've stayed at and the patio on the top floor overlooks the Sydney skyline. My visiting Canadian friend was even more impressed by the very comfortable shower, big bed and mirror behind the bed. I was very impressed
