“Great value”

The room was a bit larger than I expected, well kept, good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location if you're looking for a peaceful side of town. One block away from the Metro stop, very easy to get to central Paris. A few blocks away there are great views of the Eiffel Tower from the banks of the Seine.

“Excellent cusomter service from all staff. Quiet location easily accessible restaurant and Metro.”

I was unable to use my adaptor plug in the room but as the reception is manned 24hrs I was able to plug in my mobile phone charger there. The staff where polite and extremely helpful with directions, attractions and translations. A great locations for bakeries, groceries and restaurants. A quite location which is ideal for a good nights sleep after a day sight seeing.

“9 days in Paris”

So to me this a typical hotel in Europe. You get what you need and that`s it. This was a clean hotel close to the subway and a few markets so what more could you ask for. Of course the room is small but are you realy going to be in your room? i hope not! The staff was excellent. the phone in my room was broke so the person at the front desk would come and knock on my door for my wakeup calls even when they were at 4:00 am now no hotel in N.America would do that. So yes i highly recommend this hotel!

“Lovely garden, helpful staff”

the garden is really lovely, while the hotel itself is very basic. the rooms are small with a small TV, no fridge / minibar but the bed was quite comfortable. I had a problem with the wake up call the first night, but was OK for all other nights. I fell sick in Paris, and the staff was so helpful as to go to the pharmacy to get medication and call a doctor. Can't image a maid in a big hotel offering to go to a pharmacy for you. It's a 5 minute walk to the Metro, and about 20 min to Trocadero, 25 min to Etoile, 40 min to Louvre or Marais. However, the area is very residential, so nightime dining options are very limited.

“Very Basic”

The hotel is a small boutique style place. The rooms are restored old building, the original wooden beeems are visible. The rooms are small (typically French). The drain was backed up in the shower and sink. No minibar, or possibility of getting a drink at night. Staff were friendly. Breakfest was OK. All in all its reasonable value for money.

“Its a 2 * hotel in Parism cmon !”

Once you get your head around the whole 2-3* Paris hotel scene then your expectations are set. Focus on the basics. The sheets were clean, the staff were pleasant (didnt do breakfast, why pay 10 Euros, when I can get a pain & cafe for 5 Euros !), the water was hot (ok I admit it took a while to realise the shower taps were plumbed the wrong way around). The room was quite big, with ample storage for a short trip, TV and free Wifi, bathroom lager than most ( well in the room I had) The lights in the corridors on timer switches were a novelty, and the narrow corridors, winding stairs and creaking floor boards add to the "Paris" experience of the older terrace building off of a main street. Like any 2-3 * place in Paris, its somewhere to put your head and thats it. Yes Id stay there again (but with a bigger budget would move up a * or two !)

“Fine for needs”

The hotel room had a double bed & the room had about a 1 ft. area between the wall & bed to maneuver to the tiny bathroom. Shower always had plenty of hot water. TV had 10? channels, 1 in english. It was comfortable & sufficient for my needs, being that I was only there to sleep, otherwise out & about seeing paris. The staff was friendly & helpful. The location was very convenient to the metro & bus, sandwich shop & other dining 1 block away. I would stay again.

“Cheap and cheerful”

Great little hotel, a little rough around the edges, but very comfortable beds in small but clean room. En suite was fine. Location in a quiet residential area away from main attractions, but less than 5 minutes walk to nearest metro station.
