Hotels near Mount Pocono

Me and my girlfriend went to this hotel in April. We are mid 20s and definitely interested in the same types of activities. I would suggest you go here with someone that you get along with extremely well, someone you can hang out with and not have to do anything with to have fun. For starters, I looked into the common complaints associated with the hotel. Number one was the "old" rooms, so I went with the newly remodeled Diana's oasis room. It was very nice, however the personal pool is like what everyone says, an oversized bath tub. Not only that, but I felt dirty going in it, the water was clean from what I can tell, but their was sand and dirt in the corner on the bottom of the pool. Besides that the room was perfect, the hot tub was nice, the bed was great and the bathroom as well. The next common complain was the food, so we opted to purchase JUST the hotel room and activities. We ate at local restaurants, which honestly saved us a bunch of money and the food was amazing, I would recommend Nevil's Bloomin' Onion (make a reservation), dasaki, and the pioneer diner. The hotel activities were fun, we did archery, basketball, a lot of Ping-Pong and pool, air hockey, and the hot tub in the game room was the BEST. It was a nice size, very clean and had a cool waterfall. Overall: I gave it a 5/5 because we had a blast.

I was searching for a quick getaway for my birthday and came across this resort on Expedia. After reading all the reviews I decided to go with this hotel. We had an awesome time and the staff was very friendly from the valet, check in and out to the security personnel! Would I go back again, Misty dri rely!

This place has kept the cachet of the good old days (1960-70's) with flowers on the walls and on the bed, personel actually talking to you and garden all around the property. We were in a room, but next time we go, we'd like to be in one of the cottages.

This hotel is at the bottom of Camelback Mountain. While having breakfast you can see people skying down the mountain. The staff is friendly and the service was top notch. After a day of skiing I recommend using the jacuzzi. We went in the middle of the week so there was only a few patrons there and you do no have to wait to get on the sky lift.

Had a great time escaping with our two children, ages 6 and 11, for a couple of days. There was plenty to do for both ages, the staff is always friendly, and the brunch is always delicious! We look forward to going back again soon!! :o)
