We stayed here for 2 nights but wished that it had been more. The decision to choose this b & b is made easy by all the wonderful reviews it gets and thoroughly deserves, and it is difficult to add anything.
The owners are very good sources of information about the area and local activities , Liz, recommended and arranged a jet-boat trip for us one afternoon. I did notice that she asked us for our opinions about the experience, obviously to keep her knowledge up to date.
Maple Lodge is a delight. It would be our first choice whenever we stay in Wanaka. Less than 5 minutes drive from town with superb pastoral scenery and mountains in the distance. 7 acres of beautiful grounds which will only get better over time. Everything about Maple Lodge is of excellent quality, and the hosts are attentive to their guests but never intrusive.

This was by far by best experience with an accommodation yet during my NZ trip. The room was clean and had everything I needed (the included kitchen probably saved me $30-50 over 2 days in meal costs), I could walk downtown easily and do anything from get food or groceries to see a movie, to lying on the shore of Lake Wanaka, and the owners were absolutely wonderful - from the minute I arrived they did everything they could to help me with booking activities and making sure I had anything I needed. I highly recommend this motel and Wanaka as a whole!
