Overall stay was great but the shower was disappointing!

“Best place to stay in St.Kilda”

Very pleasantly surprised, 3 nights for the price of 2 was why we picked Novotel. Great position, walking distance to everything, had a great stay.

Great spot for our needs at a good price. The only negative I can give is the door key/card did not work after checking in. Had to get it re-scanned.

“Sheer luxury with mixed bag of customer service”

Altho the check-in process was not very welcoming - the hotel room and view were "sheer luxury". Customer service on the whole was a bit hit and miss, with 50/50 split between excellent or dismal depending on who you dealing with. However the room, location and facilities were fantastic. We had a 2 x queen bed room with a view of the bay. The bed was soooo comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. There was even a desk for the laptop. Would definately stay again.

Great hotel to stay in the location was perfect and the easy access to the tram outside the door made for lots of fun and easy coming and going. “Excellent, highly recommended”

We stayed for 4 nights and paid a bit extra to get a bay view....worth every penny. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Trams, tickets purchased from reception, took us from 100 yards from the front door into the city centre in about 20 minutes. The swimming pool is small but the pool area is secure and sheltered from the wind. The restaurant prices are pretty reasonable too. Also, the beach is only 150 yards away

“Best hotel staff ever, nice place to stay!”

Staff was exceptional. Restraunt was great though prices were a little on the higher side due to it being a nicer upscale eatery. Getting the breakfast/fast breaks included was well worth the added cost and actually more cost effective. Food was great. Room was nice and clean, and the condition was comparable to most mid grade hotels. Staff was great, cant says it enough, very nice, very helpful-went so far as to book a tour and provide maps, directions, tram schedules, and recommendations for where to eat, visit, and shop. Right across the street from beach. Will stay/book with them when I return next year.

“Six Night Stay in St Kilda”

The Novotel St Kilda was just right for our 6 night stay in Melbourne. We drove our own car from Sydney so we could make a couple of day trips put of town. We also wanted to be able to easily get to the CBD and the really good tram service was able to be boarded from just outside the hotel. The Novotel was just opposite the beach and our room enjoyed a view over the bay. There were numerous restaurants/cafes in close proximity, meaning we only dined once for dinner at the hotel's restaurant. We found it quite good with exellent food, pleasant staff and reasonable value. The room was comfortable for what we required and was clean. Everything worked efficiently. The staff members were always pleasant and helpful. Only disappointment was having to pay $20 per night for parking, which was somewhat of a surprise and added to the overall cost of the accommodation.
