“Friendly and clean. Will go back.”

The room was large, had a sofa, large computer area, and king size bed with comfortable mattres and good linnens. It was very clean. When a lightbulb was needed, it was supplied within 5 minutes. Staff was very helpful to someone who uses a walker. Shuttle service to the airport was quick and efficient. Staff also helped with directions. The room service food is quite good and not expensive. I liked this hotel very much and would recommend it to others especially those who need to park a verhicle.

This hotel was close to mats' easy in and out of parking lot to hwy. Gas station food close by. The house keeper on our floor was awesome friendly made sure we had every thing we needed.We have other friends will be staying here next year. Left keys in room they sent some one over at 230am with key.Check in and out was a flash.We were there for mid america truck show we told every one about this hotel and the great staff.The only flaw was some other hotelsof this class we found were about 75.dollars cheaper where some of our friends stayed for the same amount of days'

“Fern Valley fits the bill”

fern valley conference center was for myself and my husband conviently located to the airport and all major traffic arteries this made our trip the easiest it could have been. Check in was fast and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. For us it covered all the bases for a one night stay.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

I was hesitant to stay at this hotel after reading other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised! The staff was wonderful and very polite (everybody from the front desk to housekeeping to restaurant staff). We were there during an extremely busy weekend (the Breeders Cup) and couldn't find fault with the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!!

“Best kept secret near Fort Knox”

Traveling from out of state, I was attending my son's basic training ceremony.at Fort Knox, Kentucky. I booked 1 night at Fern Valley hotel, about 2 miles from airport, then the plan was to get a hotel closer to Fort Knox for duration of family leave. I was so surprised how nice my room was and to my amazement the hotel had an atrium area in the middle with swimming pool, pool table, fitness area, spa, cafe, patio tables with umbrellas and carpet throughout this big room. It was so nice to relax somewhere other than the room. I decided to stay my duration of the time with Fern Valley because the location was perfect in Louisville, and my son was able to experience civilian life instead of being at the army fort. Fort Knox was about 30 minites away in the middle of no where. Rooms were very clean and hotel service was outstanding. Was able to sight see and relax in Louisville with Fern Valley Hotel in perfect location. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone...Best kept secret in Kentucky!!!...

This two night stay in Louisville is the first time I've booked a reservation through Expedia without knowing, until my credit card was charged, what hotel was involved. As I was traveling alone and wanted to be near the airport, it didn't really matter to me, and I had no expectations of grandeur. The Fern Valley Hotel & Conference Center is a nice facility, actually two separate hotels connected across the street by a sky walk. It is by no means new or fancy, but it was well-kept and clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the amenities such as the pool and jacuzzi, and a nice little restaurant and bar, were all fine. It is also close to the runway so, occasionally, there was a bit of engine noise, but that's the nature of an airport hotel. I was very satisfied, and particularly appreciated the very reasonable (indeed, low) price I paid through Expedia.

“This place was exactly what I was looking for!”

This place felt safe (I was a young adult female traveling alone), and very family oriented. The hotel itself could be a bit more modern looking, possibly with some updated decor and such (as place looks a little 80s-ish), but overall it was perfectly comfortable for me. The rooms are not extremely stylish, but are CLEAN and a good size and have everything you would expect. Also, his place has a pool, pool table, foosball table, kids climbing structure, gym and more all indoors. When you walk into the hotel courtyard is, you really feel like you are outside, yet all of the ammenities are actually inside the building. The staff are friendly, but in a down to earth way. Not extremely proffessional, but nice and helpful. Very convenient location near airport and close to freeway with minimal (if any) noise. Price is definitely right for what you get. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Would be great for families with children. Just dont come expecting ultra modern suave hotel status, because that is not what this is. Its a clean, fun, inexpensive, and lowkey place to stay. I loved it! Note: I stayed there in September, so it was not extremely packed or anything. An experience might be different during other parts of the year.
