Very convenient to I-40 and everything Lebanon markets/sells. It was unfortunate that our room was right above where a large (and loud) family reunion gathered each night. The exercise room is under construction (it still is advertised on everything).
Even though I knew which exit to take, and which side of the road, I had to use GPS to find it. The hotel is down a side street, that is not well lit. There was something sticky on the counter top when we checked into the room. I cleaned it myself, did not bother calling front desk.

We normally stay at a higher priced competitor. This was our first stay at a La Quinta Inn, but it won't be our last. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. For the money this turned out to be an excellent choice.
We stayed in room 210. Nice room comfy beds, nice size, two queen beds and a very nice bathroom. But the road noise was excessive! It was as if the interstate was at the same level as our room.
Easy fix. Stay on the forth floor if you are on the side facing the interstate or even better, stay in an odd numbered room.
Even with all my complaining here about the road noise, we did not request a different room. We just kept the fan on while we slept to mask the road noise.

The city of Lebanon is 30 miles east of Nashville; its historic town square is filled with antique shops. Just outside Lebanon is the Nashville Superspeedway, which hosts both NASCAR and Indy Racing League events. The Cracker Barrel chain of Old Country Stores is headquartered here, as are TRW and Hartmann Luggage. Lebanon is also home to Cumberland University, founded in 1842.
