We were attending a family wedding at the hotel so it was the obvious choice to stay there, there were a lot of the wedding party staying there as people were travelling long distances to be at the wedding. Everyone's room was ready, quick check in, helpful pleasant staff, on the way into breakfast one of the party asked for an iron when they went back to the room an iron and ironing board was already there. Breakfast was buffet style an excellent selection of fruit, cereal. pastries, and freshly cooked english speedy but not rushed. We ate in the Italian on site restaurant on Friday evening also excellent. The wedding was well organised and again food very good and the function room was lovely. All in all a superb weekend.
I stayed for 2 nights in a lovely family room, the largest I've seen for a while with double and 2 single beds. The breakfast was extra and seemed expensive but I was given discount vouchers which made it very reasonable in the end. I did have a little word with them about the Danish pastries and croissants which clearly weren't given the same attention that the full cooked breakfasts were given, so I'd be hopeful they will improve. The staff were all lovely, most welcoming and very helpful - and they were flexible too - letting me have early access to our room. I guess I was lucky it was almost ready when we arrived. The main entrance is spectacularly adorned with banks of flowers and the restaurant opens onto a picturesque patio and sweeping lawn so they are well set up for weddings. So yes - thank you - heartily recommended.

Looking for a quiet weekend away. Unfortunately there was a wedding on the night we stayed over so didn't explore too much of the hotel. However this didn't interupt our weekend and the wedding party couldn't be heard.

We stayed here while visiting family, so for us it was just a place to sleep. However it was very nice. Convenient for the M62 so would suit business travellers. There were several parties going on during our stay but we couldn't hear any noise. No elevator to 2nd floor which may be a problem for people with limited mobiity, so request a ground floor room.
Needed a room for one night, and it was fine, once we found our way into the carpark!!! The only 2 concerns we had were the room was very hot, although they provided a fan which was very sensible and there was a leak on the hot water tap which made the tap very hot to touch and the bathroom was even hotter!! Otherwise, clean, comfy and I loved the fact we could help our selves to more tea and milk if we needed from the room near by. Also breakfast was great. Basically for a cheap rate room it was good and will be happy to stay there again.
