The hotel is situated in an excellent location - just minutes of walking from the Duomo or the Gallerie D’Accedemia, as well as dozens of restaurants, shops and cafes. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small and (in a 40C heat wave) the A/C wasn’t able to keep up so it tended to be uncomfortably hot - not sure how well it works in normal conditions. Great location if you just need a place to sleep while exploring the sights on foot.

I knew there was no elevator but I didn't realize that when they say to check-in on the second floor... that they really meant the third floor... and no one at the hotel will help you carry up your bags...

Budget accommodation in a good location
Budget accommodation in a good location. Decent aircon. I was in single room 10 and there is no window which made it a little claustrophobic. I knew there was no lift with 2nd floor location, but this might be challenging for some (room 10 is on the 3rd floor with narrow staircase), Shared bathroom was small and seen better days but adequate.

Great location near the Mercato Central. Easy walk to duomo and the Galleria de'll Accademia. Had a spacious room at an affordable price. Was relatively quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Don’t book it.
Don’t book it when u are not sure about the check in schedule. This places offers short check in schedule and is more expensive than the regular stay. We could not make it to the check in time and the money was gone. Nothing can accommodate when you talk to the owner. Totally ruin the trip and was a nightmare. I wish I could book the hotel and is about the same money

Nice hotel in good location in Florence. It was nicely decorated, remodeled very comfortable. Staff was warm and accommodating. Only negative was that it was on second floor with no elevator.
