Upon arrival we were acknowledge by staff. Check in was a very quick process and room was available.
We were provided with all the information about the hotel and the continental breakfast included.
Hotel lobby and public area was very clean. I enjoy the side view of the hotel. You can see the city.
The best parts of this hotel were the location and the restaurant. Five minute walk to Guadalajara expo so very convenient. The Flor de Calabaza restaurant was also awesome! Super tasty traditional plates, simple and not fussy but delicious! The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with lovely selection of traditional foods and meat dishes and eggs/omletsmade to order. I was traveling on the dollar, granted, but the food was also very well priced with quick and polite service from the waiters. Otherwise the hotel met my needs but was pretty basic. Took forever to check in and the wifi was weak, though it was not great elsewhere around the city either. No safe in room, though you could request one, which didn't inspire confidence. Rooms not fancy but nice and clean, and they do provide bottled water for a fee.
Everything about this hotel was perfect except the bed in Room 808 was very hard. The Heavenly Bed was not heavenly! My arms would "go to sleep" when I turned on my side. After not getting a good nights rest, I also woke up with an aching back. If you like very hard beds, this is your place! Since I could not sleep, I cannot give 5 stars.
