Fab tmb stay
Really nice hotel, close to the centre of the town. The only downside at night was the fast river running down the side of the hotel that kept us awake but was lovely to see during the day

Great location for a long weekend ski break.
Alessandra could not have been more friendly and helpful in arranging a twin bedded room, letting us in well after midnight on our late arrival from Geneva, and generally smoothing the way for a relaxing long weekend ski break. Do catch the bus to La Thuile , one day is included in your ski pass, to try that ski resort too and ski over the border into France for lunch. In the town and up on the mountain the family run bars and restaurants are welcoming offering good food and friendly service at reasonable prices. Far better value than French resorts.

Great location 5 minutes from the Dolonne gondola, 10 minutes into town. Good food and charming staff who made us very welcome. A very enjoyable stay.

Short break in Courmayeur
We had a 5 day short skiing break to Courmayeur staying at the 3 star hotel Tavernier. Good location for the gondola and a 10 minute walk into town. 3 star hotel is about right, shower room and bed could do with updating but the staff and owners could not have been more friendly and helpful eg, the restaurant was kept open late on our arrival night, staff were up very early to prepare breakfast for us on our departure also advising which restaurants to eat in. Many thanks to the staff.

Great hotel ideally located for ski lift access
Family owned hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic but clean, secure and comfortable - all you really need when the only time spent in them is sleeping! Breakfast is fine but a little limited in choice - ideally would have something more substantial to fuel up before a day of skiing. Would definitely go back as a base for skiing. Really reasonable price too.
