We were bringing our parents to South Carolina, and had left from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, nine hours later we arrived at the Country Inn and Suites near Clinton, TN, off of I 75, the girl checking us in was very professional, kind, and patient with us. She talked about originally being from Detroit, MI. so we felt at home with her. She made sure we were taking care of and told us of all the amenities, and she was very kind.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and we would like to thank her for the great stay. Clean rooms, great breakfast and wonderful hospitality.
I was introduced to this motel 5 years ago when I traveled back to my home town for a special event. It's not the fanciest place to stay but it has down home comfort, a swimming pool, exercise room and best of all, the staff is friendly, helpful and overall very nice. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are really comfortable. There is a decent continental breakfast and if that's not enough, this motel is within walking distance of several other places to eat that serve really tasty food. This is my place of choice to stay whenever I return for a hometown visit.
Overall service seemed to exceed expectations for a facility Expedia rated at 2 stars. However the shower continually dripped (fortunately not too loudly). The toilet looked like it had had some maintenance because the little white caps that are normally covering the nut and bolt holding the toilet onto the floor were missing. However besides that minor visual unsightliness, the toilet was not well anchored and moved noticeably if the user leaned one way or another. These items indicated a lack of quality control, which while other elements of the service appeared to be acceptable, cast an unfortunate shadow of doubt.

Clinton is nestled in the western fringe of the Appalachians, and not that far off of I-75. There’s a small town feel here, and the views along the Clinch River are peaceful. Most shops and food outlets can be found on Charles G Seivers Boulevard.
