"Room/condo was awesome. Full kitchen, spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms!! The pool/ sauna were great. Except they closed at 4pm!!! On a Friday night and Saturday!!! When asked they explained that they are having staffing issues. But we were a little disappointed because we came for the pool and the coast. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Beach access was a little hike, but beautiful and private. They had tons of fun board games/ puzzles to borrow. Also a wonderful coffee/ hot chocolate bar...

"My partner and I had such a lovely time here. I don’t even know where to start. The room was very cute, comfortable, clean and had a soaking tub ( and some lovely bath salts) that was a real treat. We took a nice little swim in the lake which was the perfect temperature. The gentleman who owns this place is friendly and professional, i felt welcome and at ease while interacting with him. I met a dog and a cat. The cat was perfect in every way- mysterious yet friendly, unafraid and unconcerned....

"Great location overlooking the beach, which has both wide sand stretches and rock formations. But be aware, the gate to stairs down to beach has combination lock on it, so be sure to know it. There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road. Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on...

"Cottage 7 was a beautiful upper level place with gorgeous unobstructed views. The decor and useablity of the space was perfection. The beach access was a straight shot from our backyard. Waldport is a small town but Newport is only 30 minutes away. My only negative note would be the kitchen pans and gadgets were sparse if you actually plan on cooking during your stay."

"My husband and I stayed in the pet-friendly, 2-bedroom kitchen suite with his mother. It was a great set up except that it was in a separate building a little inland from the rest of the hotel so there were no ocean views. On the plus side, we were able to park in a driveway steps away from our front door and had a leisurely dinner (plus coffee and desert) at the restaurant which allowed us to enjoy the seascape and growing storm. A great stay under the circumstances, but would love to stay again in a view room!"
