What a surprise to walk into a spacious livingroom with couch, desk, and fireplace. The bedroom was entirely separate with two queen beds. Bedding was comfortable. Bathroom was divided into shower, sink, and toilet with additional sink and counter in the bedroom. There even was a walk in closet. Cleanliness is most important with me and I felt the room was very clean.
But my problem was that I unknowingly ended up with a smoking room. When submitting my room request, there was no indication of smoking or non smoking. It didn't cross my mind. Being a non-smoker, that was unpleasant. I don't know if it was Expedia or Best Western that has responsibility for this problem. But from now on, if it doesn't say non-smoking, I'm not buying.
Breakfast was so-so which is the norm. Staff was apologetic with my problem but unable to help. They were kind and pleasant.
Overall my wife and I had a nice stay at this hotel. The price was good and it was only about ten minutes from downtown Nashville! The breakfast selection was decent for a continental breakfast but you had to be sure to be there early for certain items. The only thing I did not like was that the bathroom door did not latch. Other than that, it was a nice hotel in a very nice area!
