Independent hotel very close to the station.
Not for you if you want chocolates on the pillow and the bed turned down, but very nice not to stay in a chain and good value, especially given the location.
I've stayed there twice and my rooms (1st & 2nd floor) were quiet even though one overlooked the the square.
My rooms were clean and decent with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine with a good shower.
Desk space to work at and very good free WiFi.
The hotel was cheap and cheerful. The room was clean, though could have done with painting. The rooms were hot, which is great in December when it is freezing outside. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water for a hot bath.
Great location, opposite the station and in December there is a Christmas Market in the square.
Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. There are a number of places to get breakfast within two minutes.
This hotel is not luxurious but if you need a comfy room at an economical price, I would recommend this hotel.

Only 100 metres from the Railway & 200 m from Rue Grand & 350 m from Petite France. Reception & House staff very friendly & efficient on booking in, check-out staff not so (kept answering the phone while we waited). Cold Breakfast is included in tariff and of a high quality including freshly squeezed orange juice (as you wait). Room has a glazed window eliminating the noise from the busy street below. Window can be opened. Sleep quality is excellent with new beds & extra pillows. Rooms are small with a quiet air cond. Bathroom was very clean, though on the small side. TV with BBC CNN Bloomberg & 50 French channels. No Tea & Coffee in room, though available 24 hrs a day from Guest lounge. Free Wi-Fi. No room safe! Elevator is very small, two person size, sans luggage.

Great hotel, great value. Close to the train station and the best parts of Strasbourg. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room with good wifi connections and a usable desk (unlike many European hotels). I'd be happy to stay there again in the future.

As a women travelling on my own I thought the location was very good as close to station and easy walk to sights. I felt safe in the area. It was better tham I thought it would be for the money. There are resturants below but it didn't worry me. I think some music or even T V at breakfast might have helped the ambience and made people relax a little. The staff were very helpful. I would go back again

We stayed for 2 nights to see the Christmas markets. Prime location opposite the station and wSlking distance to all the markets. They even stored our bags for us on the last day so we could just pick them up on the way to the station later. Large family room (we have 2 small children) with plenty of space for the kids to play. Only marked the room down a point as the carpet was quite stained in places but I could see other rooms have been refurbished and look really nice. Even though the carpet was marked the room felt clean and the small fridge/minibar came in useful to store baby bottles etc. there was a bit of street noise but that's what you expect for such z central location. Couldn't rate the breakfast highly enough. Good choice and plenty of it and it's included in the room. The lounge area in the foyer and toilets came in very useful to freshen up before getting the train too. Would definately stay again.
