Close to Heathrow, but otherwise disappointing
The location was OK and the hotel was easy to find. We were attracted by the price - very economical for the Heathrow area on a weekday. But there were several serious shortcomings. Worst of all, there was no air conditioning in the bedroom and it was a warm night, more than 70 degrees. The room had an extremely noisy fan, which kept us awake most of the night. We were unable to open the window. When we complained in the morning, the desk clerk could not offer any discount. The parking lot was not free and a car selfishly parked in a no parking area (all night, so the hotel staff did nothing about it) made maneuvering difficult. We had to pay for Internet connectivity and the WiFi connection in the room was too weak for satisfactory operation - we had to use the lobby. On the plus side, the room was clean and of reasonable size.
Great choice without much thought.
At first didn't expect much because of its pricing, but when got there and stayed I felt like I got a GREAT deal because everything was so good.
Good for people on a budget!
I thought the inside of the hotel was nice but the area outside the hotel was ugly. It was in a location that worked out for me. I went to central london everyday. It is cost effective because the hotel is cheaper than any hotel in london. To get to london you my take a bus back to the airport and then to the underground which is in the basement of the airport. Their are hotel hoppa bus where it goes from the airport to your hotel directly and takes 15-20 mins., it is easy to find. The room service was okay and pretty cheap. I would say this is a hotel perfect for travelling student or young people on a budget. The hotel was nice and comfortable but small. Good for anyone that wants to go into london everyday but stay in a place where it is cheap.
